I need to tell you a story that needs to be told.
I am disabled. I live alone and have lived in Ardmore for 21 years.
My car would not start. I called AutoZone to ask for advice. The manager, Ben, was so wonderful. He wanted to help me. So, after he got off work, he came to my house and checked out my car to try to figure out what was wrong. He checked a lot of things. Discovered one problem but ultimately couldn't find the cause of why it would not start.
I knew I was going to have to have it towed to my mechanic. I mentioned that I needed to go to the grocery store to pick up a few things. Ben offered to take me there. I was shocked. A perfect stranger doing all of this for me without expecting anything from me.
He took me to the store and brought me back home. Now, I call that going above and beyond the call of duty! The young man is 29 years old. Most people his age are not that kind, helpful and giving....if fact, most people of ANY age aren't.
I needed to tell you about Ben. I didn't catch his last name. I wished I would have. But, Ben is the manager of the Ardmore TN location. He needs to be recognized!
I will include him in my prayers.

Have I got a story to tell you. Yesterday my family and I were headed to Athens Alabama, a short two hour drive, so we thought. Our 07 Sorento died 17 minutes before we got there. Stuck in the middle of nowhere and with no one to call, an AutoZone laid just two miles away with no means to get there. We called the AutoZone and the manager got in his own car, came and got us and made sure we made it to AutoZone. Our alternator was bad and we weren't going anywhere, but he hooked up a power box to our battery while we drove down the road. Our hood couldn't close because of the power box so we rode with our hood unlatched really slow, of course, all the way there. We got a new alternator, they even let us borrow some tools and we were back on the road. I've always heard some heroes don't wear capes, very true. Ben and his team are this kind of heroes. Thank you guys for everything and I wish you the best always.

Ben, Caleb and Mia went above and beyond what was expected in sales and service. Really put our faith back in the service industry and reminded me of how it used to be when I worked at AutoZone 30yrs ago. Kind, polite, knowledgeable and willing to help.

Came in asking them to check the engine light. The person helping had no idea what they were doing and none of the other 3 people would help even though they weren’t doing anything.I asked if they could reset the check engine light then. They told me they weren’t allowed to do that. I have never ever heard that as a policy at autozone.

Stock different than listed on their website. Guy was nice enough, but didn't know how to replace the headlight bulbs I bought (they go thru the wheel well, the battery is not involved). Store is decently stocked and things are easy to find.

Are you guys here and girls and the manager are all A++. The store is kept clean and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and they will help you out any chance they get.
