Not pleased at all. I took in stuff purchased within the last 3 years, like they ask you to and was told the styles were dated. Most everything was name brand and 2 items from Loft and American Eagle had TAGS on them! Anyhow, I was offered $3.36. Disappointed and will not be going back there ever again.

So I went to sell some clothes yesterday. And after I dropped off.. might I add.. all brand named suits... And I called before I brought them to see if they would even take them.. they said they do. So I took 14 suits. Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Steve Madden, etc.. well while I was waiting I decided to look thru their racks and I noticed that there were several tshirts that were ether some type of business Tshirt or a cheap off brand. I'm not knocking any brand. I wear all brands. But when I went to pick up my items they got from me and they only took 4 items. One being A coat from H&M over 100.00.. and do u know they gave me 7.00 for it... Id much rather just keep my stuff and put it on line to sell. Needless to say I wont be back to this store.

I took 2 bags full of name brands like aero, hollister, Abercrombie, Nike, Arizona jeans, American eagle in several different sizes all in very good condition some were even new with tags. I had probably 25-30 items. After looking around for awhile I finally went and asked about my stuff. They took like 10 items gave me I think $25 I asked if I could leave the items they didn’t take there while I checked out was told yes. They sat them on the ledge on the customer side and they disappeared! Was told they thought a woman had taken them and the store did nothing about it! I never even got a call from the owner as I was told I would. Not even offered a store credit and that was close to $280 worth of clothes!

Went to turn in a few clothes before donating as I have brand new loft shirts, pants, ugg boots barely designer shoes, clothing literally worn once and clean and in style and on brand with what they have. Told they wouldn't take anything. Watches 4 other people with the same experience with brand new things walk in and out told it's not in style, condition etc. they looked through my stuff in less then 10 minutes. Total joke. Better off selling on posh or other resellers. They want to sell used clothes highly priced but don't take anything in. Definitely not worth the effort to even try.

First time here today. Great selection and friendly staff! I was asked several times if I needed help. I recently cleaned my closet because of the season change and getting some new fall clothing and was looking for a place to take the better pieces because I didn't want the hassle of selling myself. I took about 35ish items (clean and folded like their website asks for) and they bought all but one. I felt the price paid was more than fair! They aren't going to pay $50 for something they will sell for $60. They aren't going to pay $8 for something selling for $10. They have overhead and are doing the legwork to sell the items. If you want top dollar, you need to sell yourself. I have no time for that so taking a box and waiting 30 mins is a godsend! Really though, selling on eBay or Mercari, after you pay seller fees, shipping, time spent, how much do you really make? Just take it here and support a local business.. Anything they won't buy, they will send to their other store, Greater Goods, where the proceeds go to a local cancer charity. Even at planet exchange, they offer a great service to folks looking for affordable clothing. Probably a much better place to donate to than Goodwill.Like stated on their website they are looking for mall brands, name brands, and CLEAN clothing in very good condition. This is what their customers want and buy, they are looking for these items at a lower price or just enjoy thrifting but want better quality than Goodwill or places that aren't so picky. Some of their customers may like thrifting. Some may just want the name brands and can't afford it at malls. Nothing wrong with this either, everyone should have access to affordable clothing that's trendy. Clothing is a necessity! When I started my corporate job, I didn't have name brand and couldn't afford more than one or two name brand items. I saw everyone at work wearing name brands so I wanted some. That might not be right and I probably shouldn't have wanted name brand but it's life and I did. I wish I knew about this place back then because I could have stocked up.Brands: I wear a lot of Banana Republic, Gap, Lucky Brand, Chaps, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's jeans and took mostly those. Only a few items were new with tags, most were work clothes (work in an office) from last fall so they had moderate wear but nothing to make them worn out. I didn't bring shorts or summer clothing, I brought in season clothing just from last yearAs for their shopping selection, they have a great selection of clothing that can be worn to work, school, for kids, for adults. I was always under the miss understanding this store was for teens and younger folks but that isn't true at all. I'll be back shopping when seasons change again or when I am just looking for unique graphic tees. Their pricing is very very good. Name brand jeans for $15 - $25 (retail new for $50+). Mall brand tops for $10 - $15 (retail new for $25+).Due to the nature of this business, there are going to be folks unhappy because they didn't buy their clothing. I told my wife before I came that even if I just got $10 I would be happy and send the rest to greater goods. I got $125 and was very impressed with how this store was ran. I recommend it to everyone reading this review for shopping and or selling clothing.

Shouldn’t even have a 1 star.. but that’s for the customer service I guess. Took three pairs of boots to sell, all barely worn. one of which retails for $220, another pair with the original box, tags, and inserts retails for $100-120… and I was offered $39 for all three.. no thank you. I agree with the majority of the other reviews, rip off.

Friendly staff and decent selection! Only gripe is that they have items from shein, that are more expensive than actually ordering from shein.

Terrible experience as far as what they accept & pay.The name brand thing is a catch. Who doesn't accept vera wang? Bring them all your most expensive for a few dollars.Yet the prices can be outrageous on some things that look like good will

So went for the first time..just thought I could get few $ or at least an exchange for the bag of shoes and few pieces of clothing I had before I donated it..I was told they didn't want any of it..not the "right" brands...and not their style? I looked around the store while I waited...I literally saw shoes similar..maybe exactly to what I brought...and same type of clothing I brought...they were a little..eh to be working in customer service..don't know if it was because it was almost closing time..or if they don't like their jobs..or don't want to be there..just saying don't expect a warm fuzzy from ppl employed here. As far as what's in the store..decent selection...but way over priced for used clothing..60$ for used nikes ? really!?

I’m really starting to think this place is ran by a bunch of mean, fatphobic, people. If you don’t bring anything name brand or above a large size, then don’t even bother bringing your clothes here! All they care about is it being “trendy” enough. My mother and I brought in 3 entire bags full of clothes and purses. After the cashier gave us nasty looks they took our stuff in the back and said they’d contact us when they’re ready. not even 10 minutes go by and they text us. When we go up to the front, there is only 1 guy up front while the rest hid in the back. They tell us they aren’t going to take ANY of our things because they were too “dressy” and not right for “summer”. i’m starting to even question if they looked through everything because there was tons of summery trendy clothes in the bags. They didn’t give us a checklist either so before the owner comments on my post, don’t even mention a checklist. This place even gives me mean girl vibes.

Not a good experience AT ALL at the Alcoa location. 1 review said “fatphobic” & I can totally agree! Dropped off 3 bags of clothes items dressy, summer & bathingsuits plus many purses majority with still tags on them. It must of been not even 10 mins, I waited in parking lot & they texted “ready”. Went in & told me they didn’t accept any of my items because they were “dressy” & they mostly accept “summer” items. Wow I didn’t know bathingsuits, shirts & purses were not used for the “ summer” and there were ni winter items at all but ok. I get it! Oh and no checklist was given either. But then you very youngins working the store like we all know they have no clue of value for ANYTHING let alone how to give an accurate reason nor even really look through the items thoroughly as they should to really give a true reason. But this shows you how low this is and to think that this is a “business” lol yeah ok sure… I would have given a zero but then I couldn’t write my review. Do no business for them!
