I needed to file for 2021 and 2022. Ez files are not so easy anymore, so procrastinated. Went in and had a very nice lady. She did my taxes, but mixed them up on amounts by the years. Got a call that she had to file an amendment and that since it was their mistake there would be no amendment fee. Ok, no prob. Received 2022 electronic deposit. 2021 would have to be a check. Was told when I received both to come in and sign paperwork. Both came in, so I called to see about the paperwork signing. Yes, come in ASAP. I then receive a call from another person there that they had re filed something and I would be getting an additional small refund. Go there and sign paperwork, talked to a man receptionist and ask if everything is good now and told yep, you’re GTG. That refund never came, and instead I get a letter from the IRS saying I now owe them almost 400 bucks. I go there, talk to receptionist and she can give no answers to what happened, who it was that called back the last time, or why If I owed anything to IRS, why it wasn’t addressed before? I get, well, the IRS works in strange ways. Really? This is unacceptable to me, and they basically botched my taxes from the start. I’m sure this owed money is from the amendment fees that they were supposed to cover, but passed on to me. The lady filing was very nice, so I won’t name her, and It was a mistake, but I won’t be going back over this. I single file and my taxes pretty straight forward and not detailed. It should not have been that difficult and now I owe the IRS, which never happens. I would avoid this place is my best advice.

They were great to deal with been going there the last 5 years always a pleasure they take the time to answer all my questions never felt like they were trying to get me out the door to move on to the next customer

I've been going to this H&R block for over 8 years and I will continue to do so the people there are great and no matter what I got going on they figure it out and explain it in a way I understand I'm also always late and they still squeeze me in and get me done they're just awesome so if you're having trouble figuring out your taxes or don't know where to go I recommend them 100%

Went to see if they could help with a letter from irs and the older gentlemen acted and definitely told me he didn't know. Lol aren't these people supposed to be tax professionals? So, I left and got in touch with the irs personally and got it took care of by myself. Wow is all I can say.
