This vet lacks follow-through and ownership of patient needs. Basic connection with patient owners and emergency services should be a given for any and all practices, and they are consistently unable to have a full conversation and follow up about health issues, in general, much less during a crisis. Vets are too prevalent in this area to have poor customer service and help. They need to do better, but until then, find a different vet.

I was staying at a local hotel for three days and needed a place for my dog... they had room to keep her and it was only $20./ night. They also were willing to clip her nails for me... when I picked her up, she was happy and not stressed... she even smelled good without having a bath. The staff were so nice and if I am ever back in the area ,I will use them again!!!

Very disappointed and frustrated with staff at this vet office. Very rude and unprofessional. If you are planning to go out for margaritas on Cinco de Mayo, make those plans when pets and their owners are not there. The new vet was wonderful.

Rocky Top Vet. Hospital is a very dependable place to have your animals taken care of. The staff is very friendly and accommodating when you make an appointment or when you have a question! I have never had any problems with anyone or anything here. Easy access to and from traffic. Try it, I'm sure you'll have a great experience with them.

I've had a standing order with this veterinary office for years - spending close to $100 every other month for prescription cat food. After all that time and money, my client file was purged and I'm unable to get the proper food that my cat needs. I was told I would have to bring my cat in for a visit so he can be entered into the system again even though I now live two states away... Not helpful and put on hold for more than a few minutes so staff could discuss. Luckily, my current vet was able to immediately help with this issue and will be receiving the orders and credits for my purchases.

These guys are amazing. They went the extra mile to save my girl (Kimber). I am blessed that they worked so hard to save Kimber. Her situation was a unique one and very life threatening. They done everything they could to make sure Kimber was going to be okay and now ,7 days later. You would never know what my girl went through because she is back to her fun loving self.

They were the only ones I could find to treat my Serama Rooster, Puff Daddy. They were great with him and handled him so gently. I would highly recommend them for exotic animals and your chickens and roosters!

DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE READ THIS I LOST MY DOG DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE. I do not write reviews but my dog passed away from the care of these vets. I came here about three weeks ago with my 12-year-old pug that had a seizure that previous night. I came with her and they said that I would be able to pick her up in 2 hours. I came back here when they said she was still not seen. They had kept my anxiety-ridden baby the entire day and was the last dog seen that day at 5:30pm even though I dropped her off at 9:00am that day. I had asked them to trim her nails three times before they did them and ended up being extremely jagged and ended up bleeding. I was told that my dog had diabetes and that I needed to buy insulin and needles in order to prevent her seizures. SHE DID NOT HAVE DIABETES. She was there from 9:00am-5:30pm with no food and water which made her extremely dehydrated and underfed while she was there. I ended up buying the insulin since I was so concerned about my dog. The vet bill was $400 when all they did was mistreat her including an incorrect diagnosis. She had 3 seizures a day after this and she started becoming very sick. The insulin caused her to have seizures since she did not have diabetes at all. She began dying within a week of starting the insulin. My baby had to be put down due to the insulin triggering her end of life. She was perfectly healthy and playing with toys before she came here and all that they care about here is you giving them money. I have lost my dog because of this place and I would recommend anywhere but here. She suffered before she went to heaven due to these people and I will never forgive them for what they did to my dog.

We took our pup Hondo to get neutered. Stephanie was amazing. She called and updated me, which was wonderful because I was so worried. He did so amazing after the surgery. Except for being groggy after the surgery, you would have never known he had just had an operation. The next day he was back to his self..I dont think he's even sore..sure doesn't show any signs anyway. Great job everyone. i had a voucher to get him fixed for free because of his adoption from a shelter, but I choose Rocky Top instead.

I love everything about this hospital. They are the best. We recommend them 100%. We had a problem with one of our ducks and Dr Matt actually went out of his way to make our sweet girl duck shoes to help with her sore feet. I mean seriously above and beyond. Thank you so much for all you guys do for our fur babies.

We are traveling cross country with our cat and only going to be here for one night. My Siamese, Charlie developed quite a nasty ear infection, I called them this morning, they were able to get him in right away. So impressed with the excellent service and compassion shown to Charlie and to us. Thank You Rocky Top Veterinary Hospital!
