8/25/2023- I heard back from Mini Mall Storage and had a very nice conversation with Ashley. She assured me they were aware of these concerns on the property and were giving attention to them.Hello. I have requested by phone calls that this location be maintained more closely. The lights are often not replaced when they go out in the main hallways and the floors look to never, or rarely, be cleaned. It is great to have a climate controlled building but the facility itself is not as well kept as it was for years when it was privately owned. The gate system was an added feature with new ownership but twice now it has not wanted to open automatically for our family driving through and once we had to call so we could get out. We have been here for a few years but honestly have discussed leaving the property. Then just recently we received a notice that no one will be on site any longer in the main office and only in nearby Johnson City. It is disappointing.

The mini mall storage is not a storage company. When they bought I'll Afton chuckey storage they didn't send us the new contact with any of the terms and conditions. They charged us for insurance (which we wanted) but then said they didn't have insurance. That they overlooked it when they bought it out. It became a problem because we found out that our storage had mice.

They are cheating people out of their items. They make you pay multiple times a month for "one" payment, and when you call them about it they say you never made a payment you can't have it on autopay because they can't do their job or they don't set it to auto pay even when you tell them to and when you try to get it fixed they mess it up even more.

Management at Afton-Chuckey Self Storage always take care of their customers and it's wonderful being able to access the units any hour of the day or night with great lighting. This is hands-down the best storage unit facility I've used, especially with the security camera coverage. Thanks for your wonderful service!

took a little while to get ahold of a person but very good service after I did..after I left work it was very hard to get the info on the phone.. the lady was awesome

Maybe not the stores fault ..but I couldn't even get through at least 50% of the aisles...and the rest had very little to choose from. The employees were friendly.

Clean outfit. However, paid everything online that was requested at setup time. Went 2 days later to the gate and it would not take my code. Called the service center and was told that we needed to pay another $16 to get the code reinstated. Went back to unit. Door is very difficult to open by one person.

The "locked gate" is open a lot, even when the chain is not broken. The office is never staffed when needed.I would not recommend this place.

Timely call back response to an online unit reservation! Customer service was great! Heather was very helpful working remotely with me over the phone and through email to make sure everything is ready to go for our big move!

My husband and I had been searching and searching for a storage unit near Chuckey, TN, where we planned to relocate in the near future. We ultimately called Afton-Chuckey Self Storage, where my husband initially left his name and number for a call back. We received a call from Sarah, just an hour or so later, who confirmed that they indeed had a unit that fit our needs. The online process for securing the unit rental was quick and easy, and was followed up by a call from Heather to check that she had the correct information and to ask us if we had any questions. Kudos to Sarah and Heather, who were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! They certainly helped make this step of the moving process considerably less painful!
