Wall Drug Store is a popular tourist destination in South Dakota, known for its fun and iconic roadside signs. Visitors find it to be a fun place with a lot to see and do, including shopping for souvenirs like magnets, photos, T-shirts, and collectibles. The store offers a variety of items at different prices, so it's good to shop around. There's a great cafe for lunch or dinner, and visitors can enjoy free ice water, which many find exciting, especially if they love Stanley or Yeti cups. The old western town area has interesting sights and affordable clothing options. Though it can be crowded and considered a tourist trap, many people find it worth the visit for its fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Some areas may be closed during off-season times, but overall, Wall Drug Store remains a fun, must-visit spot, especially for those passing through South Dakota.
I bought a few souvenirs. The prices vary a lot from store to store, so make sure to shop around before buying. The same magnets were sold for $5 at one place and $2.50 at another. I bought some pretty photos to put in frames, and the kids got collectible penny coins.

It is a must stop! Yes, it's very touristy but still fun. The back building was closed because it's off season. 😔 I would so again sometime.

So much to look at a see. The old western town definitely has great prices on T-shirts and some sweatshirts. You could easily spend a couple hours shopping here if you wanted. There’s a great cafe for lunch or dinner. Less crowded in March if crowds overwhelm you.
