I have been going to Sturgis SurgicalCenter for years. Jason Mez has been amazing and we feel it’s important that a vet knows your horses an I’ve had some great results and some unfortunate which are by no means anyone’s fault.

They were super kind, and helpful but they told me they couldn’t help me because my 50 pound pup is too aggressive. She’s a year and 3 months. But you guys have an equine center next-door and deal with really really large animals, how can you not take care of a 50 pound dog, ridiculous! I’m not going to get her fixed, and I’ll just find a traveling vet to come and give her shots. Obviously your vets need to quit being scared of small animals, it’s called a muzzle for a reason. I’m kind of disgusted about this whole situation actually. I’m just trying to take care of my dog and they basically made it impossible because they refused to let me go back and stand with her and they would not muzzle her to put her out to get fixed. SMH. Won’t be going back.

Took my cat in. Very helpful and friendly staff.That was 6 years ago...Jump to today, these guys are still the most helpful and friendly people. And caring, and patient, and you can tell everyone there is very passionate about what they do. Have brought all my cats in for everything from checkups to a worse case scenario.
