Jacob’s Auto is the best shop in the Black Hills! I have taken GM’s, Ford’s, Jeeps and Subarus there and the mechanics are always able to quickly and affordably fix the issue. Not to mention it is a family owned business. Highly recommend this shop for everything from oil changes to chassis.

I limped into Sturgis with a van that would not run up the hills... Horrible trip with the last 5 hours I couldn't run the a/c or the engine would load up and die... max speed was 60 and I had to pull over and restart multiple times on the hills.... I found Jacobs and called and they got me in to take a look. Long story short .. it was a plugged catalytic converter... Nick ordered the part and notified me when it came in.. then Rick cut it out and installed the new one... these guys are fantastic.. they went out of their way to resolve my problem even though they were already very busy. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend them.

I can tell you from personal experience, I was out of town on short notice and these guys went above what I personally expected for a garage. You couldn't ask for a more honest and caring staff fix my Ac and got me back on the road !! Thanks Guys

Great family and a great group of professionals, who will go above and beyond to give you honest feedback, hardwork and great prices. Its tough to find a shop you can really trust and I make the drive from Rapid everytime passing alot of repair shops knowing that these guys do it right!!!

My air conditioning stopped working the day after Stugis, I called ahead and stopped by. Their very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff diagnosed the problem within an hour, my truck needed the air conditioning clutch replaced and did it the same day in just a few hours! 10/10 recommend Jacob’s Auto Repair. My family was 7 hours from home vacationing in the Deadwood area when our truck started having issues with the breaks. Nick and all the other great mechanics at Jacob’s had our truck in that morning and back up and going that afternoon. They were so dedicated to getting us back on the road and able to make it home safely! They left a detailed list of what our home mechanic would need to finish up but Jacob’s made sure we were able to get home safe and sound. Charged 1.8 hrs labor to replace a radiator fan. I installed the previous one without a shop, took me a little over an hour. Total ~$500 after the part upcharge(I know how much it cost them), which comes out to ~$300 revenue for something that, I don't know how it took you 1.8 hours. Other mechanics have told me they could do it in 30 min, which would be okay for a shop to charge 1 hour, but not 1.8.They discussed the issue with me, so the knowledge was nice, which is why I gave 2 stars. As others have said, nice people. But price gouging is not cool.
