I called and inquired about a threaded barrel. I placed my order and it was going to take 2-3 weeks. When I followed-up to make sure I had done everything I needed, I was pleasantly surprised when They had a order cancelled for exactly what I needed. It arrived within the week. Friendly staff and top-notch service !!!

I emailed about the below upon receiving the barrel and never heard back. Not even a reply.My review: Courteous, delivered on time. However, I paid for a Match Target barrel plus custom fitment. This was a port slotted barrel for Glock 10mm model G40. The barrel itself has obvious, easily visible rough grooves through the middle 3 inches whereas I was told their blanks are handlapped. Also, the muzzle port slots as shipped had severe burs internally. Both of these defects caused severe copper fouling and frequent fliers. Also, the fitment at the breech end was very good whereas the fit at the muzzle was 12 thousandths. The Barsto barrel was smaller in diameter at the muzzle than Glock or KKM. All of these things caused frequent fliers and made the item not suitable for hunting or target. Certainly not sufficient for any match. Barsto is a very old name with a long heritage of excellence. Maybe I just got a lemon, I don't know. But it sure wasn't worth all the waiting time and 650 dollars for this. This barrel blank should have been rejected and scrapped. Not sold and used for a custom 'Match Target' installation. This should have been spotted at once before the blank was ever machined.I have done extensive work to correct the above problems and can now get 7 accurate rounds into a good group at 25 yards. However, the barrel then has to be cleaned and fully copper stripped after that since accuracy falls apart after 7 rounds.

Awesome customer service. Real people with real understanding. I inadvertently purchased the incorrect length threaded barrel for my SA-45XD (yes, I am that d***** Worse, was I was remiss in sending the incorrect barrel back for a refund. I ordered the second barrel so I wouldn't delay myself any more than I already had. Bar-Sto called me when my 2nd barrel and reminded me of my pending return. They held my 2nd barrel until I (finally) returned my first, which I've had for 4 months at this point, and did an even exchange (no restocking fee on a custom machined item...who does that?) with a mere $15 shipping fee. These are good folks. I'll be pleased for the excuse to order more stuff from them.

I've been in the service industry for decades. I ordered my barrel on Feb 1,2023 and it only took a week to come AND they gave me a discount on shipping. It only took 4 weeks for the whole process. BarSto is the way to go. Oh and by the way it's extremely accurate in my Delta Elite!

I have 5 barsto semi-fit barrels for my glocks and they are wonderful. All of them require a small amount of fitting so do not expect to drop one in out of the box and run. You will spend 10-15 minutes filing before it will actually drop all the way in. The small amount of work however pays off immensely. 1" groups or less at 25yds from a plastic pistol is possible with good ammo. I can make consistent hits on a 12" circle at 200yds using a MOS optic. The slide, barrel and frame fit all become rock solid once locked into battery. Quality and workmanship have been excellent. They aren't cheap and usually there's a bit of a wait but it's always worth it in the end.Word of warning, barsto's chambers are cut very close to minimum spec so ammo consistency needs to be there or you may get feed issues. Also, throat dimensions of the chamber reamers are also minimal so some larger cast or wider meplat bullets may engage the rifling before fully seating in the chamber. I throat all my barrels to the largest bullet I plan to run seated to max mag length that way everything is good.If this sounds like too much work these are probably not the best barrels for you. If you are the type of shooter that sets a target out at 5-7 yds and does mag dumps these are probably not the best barrels for you.So who are these barrels for?If you are the type of person who wants to wring every bit of accuracy out of their weapon and will do the work to get it, this is your barrel. If you are a handloader wanting minimal case stretch and top velocity the tight chambers will do that, this is your barrel. If you've ever considered hunting with your pistol and need that extra accuracy for that longer than normal pistol shot, this is your barrel. If you want a barrel in a non standard round that no one else will make, this is your barrel.

The barrel I bought did finally fit. My gunsmith was an idiot. BarSto unauthorized charged my card and took forever. It will be a cold day in hell before I buy anything else from them. However I must give credit where its due. The final product was as advertised.

This is the best of the best. The products and customer service, hands down the best I have experienced in the industry. I had two P320 Max guns fitted with barrels and you get a quarter size group with blazer 115. Put your match ammo through it and at 25 yards a 2 to 3 inch group. Nothing beats Bar-Sto Precision. Yes you may have to wait but when the finished product arrives it is done right the first time.

I ordered three wildcat barrels for Glocks, all threaded and 6", so very irregular. The craftsmanship of the barrels BarSto made for me are SO far beyond the Zaffiri, Jarvis, IGP, and LWD barrels I also have. Usually, the law of diminishing returns applies. At $400 each, I was just expecting a completely custom dimensioned barrel at about the same quality as every other barrel I own. Instead, what I got was barrels that are truly works of art, that are machined to such unbelievably perfect tolerance that they turned three of my sloppy tolerance stacked Glocks into easily the tightest, smoothest, and most crisp of the 40 something handguns I own.As an added bonus, it was also manufactured and delivered in about half the expected time. If you've read this far, and are still trying to decide whether or not to order from BarSto, let me assure you that choosing BarSto will be the best decision you've made in a long time.

Have bought 2 barrel / comp sets and neither one fit right. When calling to ask why I was told the barrel or comp would need to be finished (by me) and then to loc-tite in place. Took 4 months to receive; initial delivery time was quoted at 4-6 weeks.
