We didn’t rent the rooms we had a wedding and used the pull through RV sites the park is very clean and beautiful. The Service for check in was easy and accommodating for my late arrival from the airport. The wedding venue was the Draper Road house and we had amazing backdrops for all of our Fall wedding pictures. Constance was our coordinator for the resort and she really went above and beyond for my daughter and all her needs on her special day.
Noteworthy details: The main thing I would say is the venue needs a second refrigerator our wedding was pretty small and we didn’t have enough refrigerator space or ovens. So I recommend having a caterer.

This campground was amazing! I drove through the grounds to see what was available as a potential future camping location for us while in the area. After touring the grounds I stopped at the office to inquire about the costs. The staff was very friendly. Liz took the time to share the details with me and made sure my questions were answered. Thank you, the campground was very clean, appeared up-to-date and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. I hope we will connect the next time I'm in the area!

We just had a wedding there last weekend. The location is amazing and I don't think you could find a better event coordinator than Constance.

We had a coach, so we didn't need a room, but based on what we saw, they looked amazing.
Nearby activities: There is a lot to see in close vicinity to the RV park.
Safety: We felt very safe.
Walkability: There were a lot of areas to walk around the park area and even a walking trail.
Noteworthy details: We didn't utilize the showers and restrooms, but we did look at them, and they were spotless.

This is the best campground we've ever stayed at; we were so impressed with everything. Excellent location (quiet at night but still close proximity to the Interstate and amenities in Spearfish), beautiful campground, and excellent facilities/amenities. Extremely well-kept and clean. Our back-in site was roomy with a concrete pad, full hook-ups, and grassy area with a couple trees. We were also surprised to arrive to a food truck night and live music in the outdoor bar/pool area. Pool area was fun for our young daughter--separate kiddie pool for babies and toddlers as well as a larger pool for older kids/adults and two hot tubs. Also enjoyed the campground store. Very reasonably priced with all of the aforementioned included. We would love to return to this campground for future stays in the Black Hills area with our family.

I was hesitant when we pulled into our site, towards the front road on a loop next to the maintenance building. The maintenance people were all quiet and respectful. It was nice to have a little open space on the entertainment side of our coach where we didn't have to sit over someone's utility hookups. The biggest downside is the lack of trees. It was brutally hot when we there - over 100 degrees. Both of our AC units ran constantly. The pool and bar area are very nice; especially when they have live music. The park is clean and well maintained. The location is great for visiting Spearfish, Deadwood and Sturgis. Overall, it was a great visit but if we go again, I'll try to get a space in the back where the sites overlook the farmland and the mountains.

I recently stayed at Elkhorn Ridge for my family reunion. Constance and her assistants were incredibly helpful for the last year and a half in answering all my questions, finding me appropriate accommodations for my family, and any miscellaneous things I could think of while planning my family reunion.
Everyone was so helpful in providing information and assistance to ensure my family's stay was as comfortable as possible. Eric, Tyler, Wendy, Ellie, Hailee, buffalo tour Eric, Nick, and everyone else whose names I don't remember were so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable! They were able to provide suggestions and recommended vendors or activities in the area.
The small event tent I booked was set up in an easy to access spot for all my family members staying at the resort. Eric Hoard met me at the tent to explain the generator and how many things could be plugged in at a time, this was very helpful for knowing how many crock pots could be plugged in for dinner!
Tyler's pizzas were so delicious! I'm so happy he was available to cater one night of my family's meals.
The Buffalo tours were so much phone! Eric and Nick were friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the ranch's heard of buffalo. It was such a fun and unique experience!
My immediate family stayed in the Draper Roadhouse and it was INCREDIBLE! We had amazing views, it was so clean, and it was an incredible space to relax and decompress in. The resort was quick and responsive as well when we accidentally blew a fuse because of all our cooking in the kitchen.
Overall, I had the BEST experience at Elkhorn and would recommend them if you have also taken on the responsibility of planning your family reunion! Everyone was incredibly helpful and I would love to stay there again!

We’ve stayed at this location for years for Kool Deadwood Nights. We recently had a Death in the family and the funeral is on Friday. Our reservations have always been Wednesday till Monday. Over $500 to park my camper. This year we had to cancel because of the funeral and they will not cancel our reservation nor will they give us a rain check. Very disappointed. Obviously I won’t be staying at this place again.
