“If you're looking for good quality clothes this is the place. Not only are they known for their great underwear, but you've gotta try the firehose pants. Don't forget about the women's line. I own at least five skorts, and I can't tell you how many pairs of pants. The only thing I wish they offered for women was the fun shirts that the men get. I really feel I could rock a Busch Light shirt or a fun fishing shirt.”

Great selection of styles but more so Somer is great at helping you find what you are looking for and even more so she shows you styles you never thought you could wear and then realize you can! She makes it fun! The staff is always there to give the personal shopping experience.

“Trish at the Buckle in the Empire Mall yesterday crushed it with customer service. I came in with my 8 and 10 year old daughters. We have been struggling so much to find my 10 year old jeans because she’s in between kids and adult sizes. Trish knew just what to pull for her and was able to find her an outfit she loves and feels great in! And I haven’t been in Buckle for some time. Had NO idea they had kids clothes. She was able to hook my 8 year old up with an outfit, as well. Both girls left feeling happy and confident and can’t wait to wear their new fits to school! Thank you Trish! You were so helpful, so nice and not pushy at all. Appreciate you!”

“I am brand new to shopping at Maurices. I just wanted to give a complete shout-out to all the wonderful teenagers, young Gen Z's who all work at the Empire Mall location of Maurices. I can walk in at any time, and any one of the Gen Z girls... are extremely kind-hearted, so very helpful and helping me size my clothes. I recently lost a lot of weight and I had been basing my size off of my old plus size. The other week, I was in and I asked for a 2XL and one employee said, that I should try either a LARGE or XL in regular sizing. In disbelief that I could fit in those two sizes, I took them to the back and tried them on. To my shock... I fit very nicely in a LARGE .... Wow.... The girls tag-team each other so a variety of employees all help all of us in the dressing rooms... brilliant idea on the management's part. I cannot stress enough how accommodating these employees are for my age group (I am 56). I quit going to the other competitors in the Empire Mall, just on the helpfulness of each employee at this Maurices location. Each and every time, I'm almost near tears of JOY, leaving and I always make sure I personally walk up to the employees and sincerely thank them for their kind help. Bless you all.”

“Brumate did a collab with Anthropologie that sold out online, started seeing social media posts that stores were getting them. Local store didn’t have them out, but I ended up calling to confirm and they did not have the one I wanted. I ended up getting a call back that they found them and saved one for me. Great customer service!!!”

There is a very clear and strong emphasis on product quality and extraordinary service. The shop girls went out of their way to create and provide a lovely shopping experience. The three of us gals (ages 11,16, & 32) each found items we couldn’t live without. Truly a special special gem of a shop. 10 out of 10 recommend putting Mint + Basil at the very top of your Sioux Falls itinerary. We can’t wait to come back to shop with the Mint+Basil girlies!”

“Selling some items. Ashley is always friendly & personable, easy to talk to, welcoming environment. Plenty of room to maneuver & check things out!! Nicely arranged moveable racks are easy to pour through, as I do! Only complaint was that it was hot to me, as if air wasn't on or not working well, though I did not take the time to mention to her. Haven't encountered that on previous visits.”
