I’ve been banking here for over 30 years. It just seems to get worse and worse. I’m at the drive-through and they got three tellers inside working with just one customer. I don’t get it. I waited 10 minutes to get cash for two checks.

I was involved in a car accident a few years ago and am currently in a lawsuit for my injury. A few months ago, I relocated to South Dakota. I called ahead of time to clarify that they do indeed notarize court documents, and that it is free for Wells Fargo members. Things are tight and I literally cannot afford to pay for a notary anywhere else. So, when I was able to find the time, I brought in my documents to have my SIGNATURE notarized and the woman flat out refused to do it saying that she's not allowed. Claimed that she couldn't notarize a sworn statement, even though her literal job is to notarize signatures, not the statement itself. I am baffled, as was my lawyer. He even said that it didn't make any sense. I cannot help but feel as I was being judged by this woman based on my appearance (I have bright red hair and tattoos and I get all sorts of looks from people in this new area I am in, including the bank staff that day) I still cannot afford a notary (she suggested going to UPS) and was really counting on my own bank to do their job. The more time I am with Wells Fargo, the more disappointed I am. As soon as I am able to, my husband and I will likely be closing our account with them. Whatever you do, DO NOT open an account with Wells Fargo, and if you do, avoid this location, as they are clearly unprofessional.

Tried to set up an account BEGGED for a temporary debit card to sustain myself off my own funds and was told to set up mobile pay, didn’t work, no ability to spend my money for 14 days.

Never have bankers available to help. Tell you to make an appointment, but won't answer the phone to take an appointment. Moving all accounts to another bank today.

The bank is usually fast and has an ATM in the drive through. Many times there is cookies or candy available in the lobby. My only 2 problems are that many times I have gone in for cash more than the $500 limit you can get from an ATM, and it's way too difficult. It always requires a manager who is not available and I have to show ID several times and they ask me questions on what I'm going to do with the money. It's none of your business what I do with my money, if I'm going to blow it at a casino or go on vacation or buy some underwear for my girlfriend it shouldn't be their concern, especially if it's under $10,000. The 2nd thing is that they do not do foreign currency. I travel a lot, just look at my reviews, I've been to virtually every continent so I usually need some currency of the country I'm going to. It would be nice.
