“The Old Courthouse Museum is a gem of the Sioux Falls Heritage Museum offerings (see also the Pettigrew Home). Large, ornate with a hint of mystery, exhibits are tucked in to rooms begging to be explored. Walk up the black stairs between the naturalistic murals depicting the local Sioux Falls for beautiful rooms, walls and ceilings. A favorite piece was an authentic copy of the Peace and Friendship Treaty from 1815 (!!!) lovely gift shop with a unique focus on South Dakota and Little House on the Prairie. Free admission and the air conditioning is nice and cooling on a hot summer day.”

“My family recently celebrated my father’s 90th birthday here. We have 48 in the family and all grew up learning to shoot and most married those who also enjoy the sport and hunting. The family members enjoyed great food, the fun game area for all the young ones and definitely the shooting range. This facility is amazing and everyone working there was so very friendly and accommodating. Love to support our veterans!”

We had multiple meetings and phone calls to ensure everything was up to par. We got many comments about how amazing the venue was. Our decor was simple, yet elegant. The District itself has beauty that doesn't need to be dressed up to much. We couldn't say enough great things about our wedding day!”

“What a great experience. Dee and Brant at the front desk were amazing, and so we're all of the staff. I got a very unexpected upgrade and was so shocked I had to double check to make sure I wasn't getting charged more..The rooms were so nice and cozy, and everything was clean. The bar in the lobby was lively, and bartenders were spectacular. This will definitely be my stay when in town. $30 more than the other Marriott close by but do worth it.”

“Clean, comfy rooms. The bathroom was clean as well. There we outlets next to the bed, including USB outlets on the alarm clock. The breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast. It was what I was expecting, so no complaints about that. The airport shuttle hours are pretty limited. The staff was helpful getting a billing issue sorted out. There is a mall directly adjacent to the hotel so there are plenty of food options nearby.”

“We stopped in to try their Burger Battle burger feature and it was great! Very comfortable seating and not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Our burgers were a lot less messy than most of the others we tried and excellent flavor of the grilled beef on a pretzel bun. The accompanying fries were crinkle cut fries (not my favorite) but tasted good. Overall, I'd rate this burger and fries 9 on a scale of 1-10.Nearby activities: Short walking distance to downtown pubs and retail shops, to the Levitt performance venue, a closeby to walking and biking trails leading to the falls on the Big Sioux River.”
