“Other than one of the four pool tables getting quarters stuck, which really isn't that much of an issue ( just use another table), the place is a good place to bowl and shoot pool. It also gives you a timer telling you how much time you have left on your lane(s).”

“For this area of the country, which is mostly flat, this is an awesome park, in all seasons of the year, with cool views of the city and fun winter activities like skiing in the winter!”

“My family recently celebrated my father’s 90th birthday here. We have 48 in the family and all grew up learning to shoot and most married those who also enjoy the sport and hunting. The family members enjoyed great food, the fun game area for all the young ones and definitely the shooting range. This facility is amazing and everyone working there was so very friendly and accommodating. Love to support our veterans!”

“Just magnificent!???

In Sioux Falls stands a courthouse grand,
A relic of a bygone land,
With walls of stone and tales to tell,
Of justice served and farewells.

Its halls once echoed with the sound,
Of verdicts given, judgments bound,
Through seasons’ change and years’ embrace,
It kept the law in its steadfast grace.

Beneath its dome, where history breathes,
Whispers of past weave through the eaves,
Marble steps worn by countless feet,
In the heart of town where paths did meet.

Stained glass windows, colors bright,
Cast rainbows in the morning light,
A sentinel of time and lore,
Guarding memories evermore.

Now silent, yet it stands so proud,
A testament amidst the crowd,
To those who passed and those who fought,
In this old courthouse, justice sought.

A symbol of the city's past,
Its legacy forever cast,
In Sioux Falls, where stories blend,
This courthouse stands, a timeless friend.”

“The District was everything we imagined it would be for our wedding day! From start to finish, they ensured everything was scheduled and placed perfectly. Whitney was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond, helping with even the smallest details to make our day perfect. Her experience made the planning and preparation process so much easier for us. On the day of our wedding, everything was beautifully set up and ready to go, making it truly unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team!”

“My son and I went to see the movie Dune 2. The movie was great, but I almost gave the theater a low rating. The only reason why I didn't was the cashier. He was very nice. Played peek a boo with my youngest. Was very knowledgeable about the Dune and several other films I had questions about. I don't know if it matters much, but from now on, I'll call to see if he's working before I go.”

“Traveled as a family with two kids & stayed two nights. Overall we had a very pleasant experience & we plan on staying here any time we’re in the area.

Complimentary happy hour snacks & drinks are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, however, we did not get a chance to check it out because of other commitments. We also did not get a chance to swim but plan to next time. There are very nice laundry machines available for use with detergent for purchase.

Rooms: We had a queen suite with a fold-out couch bed & kitchenette. The room amenities were great - silverware and dishes were provided, along with a small bottle of dish soap and dishwasher detergent. The ice maker in the freezer came in handy - we let it run during our stay and had enough ice to throw in our cooler when we left.

The room was just the right size for us, and quite cozy. My only complaint is the lighting in the shower/toilet room is very dull & could use an update.

Nearby activities: There are SO many nearby options for dining. Sioux Falls has a lot to offer activity-wise; a zoo and butterfly garden are nearby, lots of shopping, along with tours of historic buildings and, of course, Falls Park.

Food and drinks: Breakfast was excellent - they have a rotating main dish (typically an egg presentation [hot, premade cheese omelettes/scrambled eggs, etc], sausage/protein and a sometimes a potato choice) along with plenty of other options. Waffle irons were available, oatmeal, juice, breads, coffee, yogurt/fruit and granola.. there is something for everyone.”

“Great Space but Some Improvements Needed but Good Price

I recently stayed at Candlewood Suites Sioux Falls, and overall, it was a decent experience. The room was large and spacious, offering plenty of space to move around comfortably. The kitchen was a nice touch, making it convenient for preparing meals, though I would suggest providing more silverware. The cabinets and countertops could also use some updates, as they are showing signs of wear.

One downside of my stay was the limited WiFi connectivity on the 4th floor. The signal was spotty, making it difficult to stay connected consistently. Additionally, the water pressure on the 4th floor was quite low, which was a bit disappointing, especially when showering. While the bathroom itself was clean and functional, the water pressure issue stood out.

I was also surprised to find that the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, which is something many travelers might expect. Having a breakfast option would be a great addition.

Overall, the Candlewood Suites has potential, especially with its spacious rooms and kitchen setup, but a few improvements in amenities and maintenance would go a long way in making the stay more comfortable.

Nearby activities: Great location with plenty to do in the surrounding area.”

“This vintage Holiday Inn has been renovated and updated so the rooms are really nice. We had an end room with an actual small balcony you could walk out on. Walking distance to the Arch and the sculpture walk is right next to the hotel.

Short walk to the Icon if you are there for a show.

Walkability: Close to the river and good restaurants and the Sculpture Walk

Food and drinks: The bar is pretty nice. The breakfast buffet is fairly simple with an omelette bar and waffles as well as a salad/fruit bar and typical breakfast basics.”

“What a great experience. Dee and Brant at the front desk were amazing, and so we're all of the staff. I got a very unexpected upgrade and was so shocked I had to double check to make sure I wasn't getting charged more..The rooms were so nice and cozy, and everything was clean. The bar in the lobby was lively, and bartenders were spectacular. This will definitely be my stay when in town. $30 more than the other Marriott close by but do worth it.”

“Nice location and friendly staff. We had a miscommunication on the house cleaning schedule but simple fix. Rooms are standard size but in all honesty, the trim and decor/layout seemed aged and in need of some re-imaging. No complaints though, slept fine and comfortable for 4 nights. Will likely be back next year during race week at Husets.

Rooms: Standard layout and comfort as would be expected. Clean and well kept, decor and trim work becoming aged.

Nearby activities: Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The mall is located across the large parking lot.”
