“Outstanding service. I called Jay Egge Automatic Service about my transmission slipping and asked how much it would cost to have it checked. They told me it would be free and only take about 15–20 minutes to rule things out.
When I arrived, the mechanic came out, we test drove my car, and they quickly confirmed that my transmission is going out. Even though it wasn’t great news, they were honest, quick, and very professional.
The best part is they didn’t charge me anything for the diagnosis. Another shop I considered was going to charge almost $300 just to look at it.
Because of how fair and friendly they were, any future transmission work I need will absolutely be done here. Highly recommend these guys.”

“We drove to Sioux Falls and our car suddenly started running poorly on interstate, not far from Sioux Falls. Long story short… I randomly ended up at TDS the next morning. Austin offered to squeeze us in. Also the greatest part was he let us take a loaner vehicle while he worked on it! This saved our day! Later that afternoon they finished the work and boom we had our car back and made it back home to Sioux City safely.
