For this place being Christian based and to help people they sure can lie to you mislead you and not help you out when you are in need and going through hardship. Nothing but a scam they pick and choose who they help

Very helpful and friendly when I showed up. They informed me they no longer take donations and directed me to a place that I could. (St. Vincent's Depaw on Cliff and 6th and to go to the back of the building where their recieving center is located.) Thank you!!

Yes indeed it is a place where people who have fallen on to hard times whether the circumstances, they can find help . I think that the salvation army and the people who are there don't get enough recognition for their service and their commitment and compassion for the people who come to them asking for their help. I know this personally cause I too asked for help. They are what the name says the Salvation Army and I am honored to be helped by such great people. And so I pray... Amen

Looking for Major Anderson several times but she never seems to be in the office. Everyone was nice about it but no one could tell me when she would be available. As a donor to the organization, this concerns me.
