Horace Mann Insurance has been one of the worst companies that I've had to deal with for my insurance needs. Their customer service is horrible. I had my home, auto, and life insurance through these guys for years and just recently decided I don't need to deal with their horrible service and will be going with someone else for as much as possible of it. Stay as far away from these guys as humanly possible. They don't deserve your business and will only treat you as a money machine.

Horace Mann has pretty decent customer service. They've always been decent to work with, and they always call on my birthday, which is nice of them. However, they have high premiums, a clunky software system(I always had to call in to get late fees removed when they never should've been applied), and they raised my premium 200$ when my wife barely dinged someone's wheel well(nearly no visible damage). In their current state, I cannot recommend them and I am in the process of switching to a new company.

I just waited on hold 2 different times for 20 minutes just to be hung up on.

Wonderful staff!!! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Worked with them before, will work with them in the future and am currently working with them. I can not speak highly enough of this group of people.
