Excellent customer service by Gabby!!! This young lady was super patient and knowledgeable. Offering much needed advice and suggestions on how to better care for our fish. Third time to this store and so glad we came back today!!! She deserves a raise!!

First time at Mini Critters (3509 W 49th St, Sioux Falls, SD). My Shih Poo puppy's (Angus) first haircut/grooming. Was pleasantly greeted at the door an directed where to go for the grooming. The groomer was very professional and ask numerous questions about Angus and how I wanted him trimmed. I really didn't know how Shih Poos are normally trimmed so I basically left it up to her. When I picked him up later, I was amazed how well he looked. From long mop like hair to a smooth, velvet, blocky look.
It was obvious that she cared and was very good at her profession. Would like to give "Bethani a huge THANKS"!!!!

it’s it’s been about three years ago, but I purchased a pug from these people. They give me a paper saying that they would pay for neutering of my pug because his testicles didn’t drop but the stipulation is he had to have it done in 30 days. he wasn’t old enough to have it done in 30 days. He had to be six months and also, he was very very sick puppy before I got him and that was also noted on there, but they would not pay for the removal of his testicles. They had to go into his stomach and get his testicles and remove them, but they couldn’t do it till it was six months old so they wouldn’t pay for it so they know how to get out of stuff so beware sorry I was so late putting this on but I never thought about it charged me $2000 which is the same amount as any pug would’ve been if he could’ve serviced and had puppies

I have honestly had nothing but great experiences every time I’ve gone into Mini-Critters on 49th Street. The employees are always very helpful and seem knowledgeable on the products when I’ve asked for food advice. I’ve boarded my dog there several times and she always comes home happy and healthy. I’ve seen lots of negative reviews for this company and what I know is that you really need to experience a place for yourself before deciding what’s best for you and your pet. I have seen no signs of abuse and would take people’s opinions with a grain of salt. Decide for yourself and don’t get scared away by a few bad reviews… some left by people who have never even been in the store.
Thanks for always taking such good care of my girl!

mini critters is the only place I go to buy supplies for my reptiles. the staff has always been incredibly kind and welcoming every time I come in. the 49th st location is where I got my leopard gecko a few months ago, and Minnesota Ave location is where I got my sweet cat almost a year ago. could not recommend mini critters more!
