I just moved to Sioux Falls and after a few visits, I can say that I can't stand this location. I will try a different store to see how it goes. There's always employees blocking aisles re-stocking shelves. Now, the juice of the 1star is on the class of customers coming to this store. I wonder how they can collect a large group of ill mannered and rude people at the same place - same time!!! Every single time I went to this store the customers are just rude ... rude!! It's unbelievable! Plus the employees are apathetic. I wish whole foods would come to this town. Sticking to pomegranate

I always forget NOT to stop at this location. Such a cluster. From aisles blocked with employees stocking shelves to old cashiers, this location. Is nothing but a headache. It's close to my work but I need to remember to go out of my way to another Hy-Vee or maybe a competitor as Hy-Vee customer service has gone WAY downhill.

Terrible customer service from Sue A. Trying to return soup I bought for my 87 year old father in law yesterday and there are 2 of us in line. Sue appears to be helping woman in front of me at window one so I move to register two at customer service to set the 14 cans of soup on counter because heavy. Sue A turns around and rudely says I need to finish with her even though "her "is at the other register. Sue A proceeds to push 7 of the 14 cans of soup out of her way and calls the customer from register one over where my daughter and I are standing. I grab the bag to move it fully out of rude Sues way now that we are all over at register two. It clanks as cans do as I set it on top of my other bag and rude Sue proceeds to stop wheat she is doing to glare and snarl are customer service face at me. I proceed to tell her we will go to a different hyvee. I then turn to a less harsh employee and ask to talk to a manager. I get some young woman who clearly could care less. I tell her the situation and she just says oh that's too bad. I tell her I want to return this soup because in shopping for my father in law YESTERDAY I bought him progresso instead of Campbell's chunked that I bought at hy bee in cans. She proceeds to say she can't take it back. And it is because of Covid. I proceed to say I have a receipt and she says oh no we can't. I say fine I will Never be back again and she says ok. Hope your day gets better. WTF

Great six dollar all you can eat salad bar lunch visit this past Thursday. I wish I could've eaten more than just one plate. There was no crab on the salad bar, but otherwise everything was up to snuff. If you're one of those people who like the creamy pre-made or pasta salads those do not come with the salad bar here, however, but that was fine with me. The only annoying piece was that the checker who probably was new, wasn't sure how to ring up someone eating salad bar at the store, especially on six dollar salad bar day, but one of the managers from the area helped her. One thing that was really cool was how so many of the Hy-Vee staff were enjoying their lunch together on the big tall bar top table. It was neat to hear them having a fun lunch experience at work and see them eating the same foods that we go there to buy. I am a frequent salad bar go-er, but this is probably the first time I saw so many staff eating at once together and be so lively. I usually don't find myself in this part of town when on work travels.

Pretty decent selection of groceries here. They have pretty fresh looking vegetables here and plenty of selections of water, ice cream, alcohol and all the basics. The service is quick and reliable. No issues at all and no overcharging or anything like that. Plenty of parking outside and in a busy part of Sioux Falls so it seems rather safe walking in and out of here. Would use this place again.

I will admit, these five stars are after just a quick visit to Hy-Vee. I was amazed at the size and look of the store - clean, bright, and well stocked. As it was my first visit, I needed to ask for help finding things. All of the clerks were very friendly and took me right to what I was looking for. I will definitely be back again.

Most of the HyVee's have been upgraded or New in the Sioux Falls area, and I seem to be able to find everything I need plus many times there's even a post office there!

Stopped in to pick up a quick cake for a departing employee. They only had 4 cakes that didn't already have HAPPY BIRTHDAY written on them and when asked the lady behind the counter her reply was "thats what we got". I asked if they could remove the "Happy Birthday and re-frost the cake and she said "Nope" ( i guess the 3 ladies were too busy catching up on the Bachelor or Love Island to help a customer) So I decided to go to the floral dept to get flowers instead and WOW the experience I had there was EXACTLY the same. Guess Hy-Vee on Louise is just too busy to help their customers. Guess what there are plenty of other grocery stores in town I am now shopping at.

Big clean grocery story. I love this grocery chain. They have a friendly smile in every aisle, which is their tag line but it's true! Open 24/7! There's an awesome prepared foods section with seating. Definitely a yummy quick lunch spot and definitely good for take out to grab dinner when you have to pick up a few others things. One stop shop here! The Chinese food buffet is delicious! Also, a big produce department with organic section, health food section of groceries (3-4 aisles I think) and huge health and beauty section. The prices are all reasonable for the average family. Wine and spirits section is also large but separated from the other part. Overall I feel they promote the healthy family. Nice job!

Living in Colorado I have gotten spoiled by the beer selection, and with traveling for work as extensively as I do it can be hard to find places that have good craft beers, but this place has a fairly good selection. The grocery side has some good choices as well for quick grab food items, along with all the major players in the day to day stuff.

Yesterday, I needed 1 1/2 ponds of Top Round cut into 1/2" slices for a Sunday Brociile dinner. We don't normally buy meat from Hy-Vee because we buy a half beef from a friend every year, but This was a last minute dinner and didn't have anything thawed. So, I instructed the meat guy of my need and intention with the cuts. After a bit of snickering with his coworker about having to slice the meat he came back with the wrapped goods. Later that evening I opened the package and discovered the WORST looking, dirty, fatty uneven sliced meat I've ever seen. Well, it wasn't the first time and on my way to Hy-Vee I went to return the meat and chew some butt about the poor quality and how could they let this go out the door. Furthermore how this had totally ruined our plans for dinner! We've continued to shop at Hy-Vee against our better judgement only because of convenience. But this is the last straw for these guys, it's just not worth it. There are many other options in Sioux Falls for groceries and I would encourage everyone to seek them out and do business with a local grocery or one of the Whole food stores in town. Hy-Vee's meat and produce are equally horrible, they don't care about the quality of food they offer since growing into a food giant in the industry. Hy-Vee SUCKS!
