We stopped into the lounge to have a couple of drinks. There was no signage posted in the normal parking lot saying we couldn't park there. But my vehicle was towed and management is refusing to help. I was punished for just simply being a customer and spending money there. I will never spend another dollar there and I will make sure to let everyone I know about the bad experience I've had here. Sadly what could have been fixed easily and cheaply. Will now cost this company a small fortune over the next few years. It's a shame customer service is fallen so badly.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I stayed here because it's a full service Holiday Inn that had ev charging and parking. The service itself in terms of the actual people is fantastic. Sincerely no issues. Service in terms of the overall hotel operations... Not thrilled about a few things. In max status so when we stay at a place for our weekend breaks we want to book a nice IHG that has a good breakfast and an on site restaurant. Breakfast is supposed to be free for max status and available at all full service Holiday Inns.Apparently, breakfast isn't available on weekends here. We had to pay. To be fair, it was a massive amazing brunch so I wouldn't expect that for free but a discount? Then the "breakfast" served on weekdays was silly. No meat products of any kind. No sausage links or patties. No bacon. No sausage gravy with biscuits. Diced potatoes and scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, cereal. (I run an Airbnb hostel and charge 15 to 30 a night and even I have sausage and bacon for guests.) I just found it to be off putting and disappointing that a full blown holiday inn was being stingy with breakfast. I don't actually know if I've ever stayed at a breakfast included IHG hotel anywhere in the planet that didn't have some kind of meat available. 100 plus locations. These folks managed to put out a breakfast that was inferior to a run of the mill holiday inn Express. It's VEGETARIAN ONLY.Second, charging a 25 dollar flat rate for EV parking is ridiculous. Never seen something so ridiculous. Even in downtown Chicago. Sample size dozens.Someone would have to be driving over 300 miles a day to even pay that much at a .32 cents supercharger and y'all paying maybe .19 per kwh for power. Plus since it's a destination charger it would take 8 to 14 hours if they pulled in in almost empty to fill up. That's under an hour at a supercharger and same price or maybe even cheaper. Most people won't be coming in at empty either though so this is a silly comparison.I have yet to see a single EV using the stations on my Friday to Tuesday stay. It's only Monday now but still. You guys would make a lot more money offering that for free to guests or a small nominal fee as it would actually get used by people all the time. Hotels with chargers are in demand. But not at those prices as someone who travels cross country in an EV. You're basically saying don't bring your EV here for charging.Lastly, the front desk staff were rock stars. Needed some labels printing and the printer in the business area wasn't working so they took our labels let us email that we needed printed and they got it done for us and that was freaking awesome. But for real. Stop being cheap about breakfast. There's no reason a full service Holiday inn should be serving less food than a damn holiday inn Express. Vegetarian breakfast. Say that out loud and tell me that's not ridiculous.Noteworthy details: I pulled 30 to 40 MBS download speed at this property. Very nice.

We stopped in to try their Burger Battle burger feature and it was great! Very comfortable seating and not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Our burgers were a lot less messy than most of the others we tried and excellent flavor of the grilled beef on a pretzel bun. The accompanying fries were crinkle cut fries (not my favorite) but tasted good. Overall, I'd rate this burger and fries 9 on a scale of 1-10.Nearby activities: Short walking distance to downtown pubs and retail shops, to the Levitt performance venue, a closeby to walking and biking trails leading to the falls on the Big Sioux River.

This hotel does not disclose their hidden fees, although I stated I was needing a government rate for job training and was on a per diem. They charge $15/day for the 2 bottled waters in the room (that I didn't use but should have) and for parking! Charged $4.50 for "downtown improvement fees" quickly adding $20/night to your stay. They also do not offer complimentary breakfast as there are 2 restaurants in the building. Do not stay here if you are on a budget. Very displeased with the hidden rates that the front desk tried to tell me I should have known about, although most people staying are from out of town. Will not be staying here again, may have cut a few minutes off my morning trip but not worth it in the end. Will make sure to give my feedback to our company to take that hotel off our recommendation list as they don't offer tax exemptions for government employees either. As we are required to pay up front ourselves and receive reimbursement and aren't issued individual charge cards. My shower also had hair and debri from the previous guest, that still wasn't cleaned out when housekeeping came back twice.

Holiday Inn Downtown Sioux Falls is more than just a place to rest your head, it's a gateway to the city too. The staff from checkin to housekeeping exuded genuine cheerfulness. Our room was spotless, and the constant buzz of events outside kept us feeling connected. If you're looking for a comfortable stay with a pulse, this is your spot.

It’s been recently remodeled, great restaurant. The members club in the top floor is great. Love the breakfast and meal in the evenings. Very close to everything downtown.

Nice place but some of the rooms have a funky designed bathrooms. You darn near have to step over the toilet to get into the shower. Others not. Depends on how the room is designed. Decent rooms and nice lounge area.

Really? These hotels make so much money but they can't even keep our coffee makers new and not disgusting? This made me sick.

After a little confusion when checking in and the third person to help, Gray brightened my day. She was very patient understood what I needed and explained the process as she completed the check in process.

The room isn't terrible. The bathroom absolutely reeks. The drain doesn't drain and it's incredibly moldy. The ceiling is also moldy and the ring around the toilet is also moldy. Do better. This smells so bad we had to close the bathroom door all night and when it was opened, it smelled so rotten. How embarrassing for you. I stay at a lot of hotels and truly, I don't think I've seen mold covered up quite like this. I haven't even bothered to look around the rest of the room yet (I am currently in here) and I am so happy i am leaving tomorrow and not staying multiple nights. Yuck.Front desk person - absolutely lovely.

My stay here was actually decent, but I have to give a low score due to the signage in the fitness center, which forgets the existence of female physicians altogether in the first exercise rule. Not sure if this is a sign in all Holiday Inns or just this one, but I was disappointed at the sexism.

I love everything about this hotel. The staff are awesome from the shuttle driver who picked us up from the airport; the front desk; and the housekeeping. The room is well kept and organized. The location is amazing where you can find plenty options to eat and to walk to the falls and to the Falls Park. I cannot wait to stay at this hotel after all the remodeling is completed.
