“This location has the BEST employees. The guys are always smiling and in a good mood(bright and early, lunchtime and nearing the end of the workday). They are always helpful. Regardless if your asking where an item is located in the store or if by chance they don’t carry the item you need they will take time to suggest other places (hardware stores) the item may be sold at. A+ hands down. How one’s employees are(act/their attitude and demeanor) are honestly a huge part of a customer continuing to return time and time again. “If I need something quick, a special item I can't find anywhere else, or help with something I'm trying to put together this is my favorite stop. If I go in looking for help the staff usually gets me in and out in a couple minutes. Everyone is very knowledgeable and seems like they have a lot of the same employees they had for years.”
“Ace hardware is awesome they got free samples of licorice I got my daughter a Christmas present she's a maintenance man for castelo properties it's grate to have a daughter I can buy tools for good prices lots of bolts pet food and other grate smelling hardware pop corn is fun to”
“I called about snow blower availability and talked to Dallas. He told me what they had in stock and was very knowledgeable on the product. When I went to the store to pay, he explained the snow blower, how to take care of it and how to run it. He agreed to deliver it to my home free of charge. When he delivered, he again explained how to operate it and then made sure I was comfortable with operating it before he left.”

“Schoeneman's had the solution I needed when it came time to replace my 50+ year old single pane windows. Don Kaarre, from the Sioux Falls store, had all the answers I needed for a direct replacement of my awning style units. The product selection was good and the unit price was well within my budget. The windows arrived in relatively good time and Don had arranged with a local installer to remove the old windows and install the new. The installer showed up ready to work and had all the new windows installed in under two days. Amazing quality of work! They look great and function as designed. I'm very happy with the result.”

“I went in looking for a pressure washer. Funny thing about that I didn't feel pressured. An associate approached me after 2-3 minutes and asked if I had any questions which I did. He was able to answer my questions and get me setup with a unit I am very happy with. Of course he recommended some additional products and listed the benefits but I didn't feel pressured to buy them. All though I did at his recommendation buy a few small things like oil and the service plan. He also gave me some really good advice on servicing the washer that wasn't in the manual but I do feel will benefit me. Sadly I don't remember the mans name however I will say this was my best northern tool experience and will certainly return to this location.”

“I needed help in window blinds, couldn't find anyone so went to front desk. A lady there said she would find someone. I went back to the blinds area and waited. Shortly the lady came to the area and told me the staff was busy with other customers but would be there shortly. Very soon the young man came and did an excellent job. Both employees were very helpful.”

“I'm going to paint the picture: I've been stopping here since 2009 when I moved to town. If you brush up to an employee, they really nail customer experience. And to hammer that home, ask any employee a question and they'll take great care of you. Sometimes you need a specific bolt or washer and think, "Man I'm screwed. Where can I even find one of these?!" Bolt to Ace. They got you covered in their hardware area. I'll level with you - great selection. Want to grab fresh popcorn on the way out? They measure up and got that covered, too. Also, you'll never guess what I saw last time I was there: Really cool cookie cutters. Does that even make sense? No, but I'm never... board... wondering the aisles.”
