Today was my last time ever to donate anything to Goodwill! I had a carload of very good items, and the attendant, who obviously hates life and people, the way he looked and acted, started to give me attitude about one item that he didn't think should be there. All he had to do was to politely tell me that the item was not to their standard and we would have been fine, but instead he had to give me attitude and lecture. So i loaded all of my stuff back in the car and left. ALL of my future belongings will go to Savers and St Francis house in Sioux Falls!!
Goodbye Goodwill!

Unless you're looking for a bunch of Walmart used clothes for more than new prices, don't bother. They've removed most of their shelving except for the clothes racks, so not much else. IDK what they're doing with all the rest of the stuff they used to put in the store. ?♀️

While in Sioux Falls for the weekend, we decided to stop and shop. I needed to use the fitting room, so I approached the cashier (who had a few people in line) and simply stated “when someone’s free can I please use the fitting rooms”. Her response was “it’s gonna be a while”. Once I tired on my items I went to the register, Debra seemed annoyed that my boyfriend and I were ringing up 2 separate transactions. She walked away to call for register backup so I pulled the hangers off my items to help her out because she seemed stressed. Once she came back to ring me up she pulled bags out and threw them on the counter and told me I could bag my own stuff. In the meantime the other cashier was friendly and helpful. I hate leaving negative reviews but Debra made my fun stop for thrift shopping disappointing.

Went last week, the store barely had anything in it. Had my kids in the cart, asked lady at the counter if I could put a breakable item I’m buying at the front until I’m done shopping. She told me no, it was against policy. Never had that issue at any other goodwill in Sioux Falls. She eventually let me leave it at the front, but told me if anyone else took it, it wasn’t their problem. Rude workers.

Store full of Shein and Walmart clothing tagged for more money than they went for new. Everything good is getting diverted to online sales where they jack the price up even more and gouge for shipping costs. Don't donate here, you are just facilitating their grift.

I went to donate a bunch of stuff I no longer need and the guy at the donation center got agitated with me because I wanted to keep my bins that everything was in. So he took all my items (some being very fragile and glass) and threw them on the ground and shoved my bin towards me. Maybe he was having a bad day, but It was completely unnecessary to act like that. I'll take my donations somewhere else with staff that's more friendly, and won't damage the items I'm trying to donate.

Usually, I have a great experience here. The employees are friendly and kind. They are always welcoming.Today, I saw an employee struggling to put a dresser on a wheeled cart. As he tried to lift it up, the cart kept rolling away from him. As I was walking by, I simply put my foot on the cart to stop its rolling away and stabilize it to help him put it on the cart. He got upset with me, almost angry, telling me, "I got it!". So I took my foot off of the cart and walked away as he continued to struggle, and the cart continued to roll away from him. I apologized and said that I was only trying to help, and his response was, "I don't need any help." Clearly, he did.I understand frustration at situations and pride, but rudness to a customer, anyone really who is offering to help without a second thought when they see you are struggling? How/what would have been his thought if I'd walked past without a second thought and just watched him struggle?Sadly, it was not a good experience today at this location.
