Empire Transmission has been great to us every time we came. The offer free inspection and diagnostic. They gave us a free quote which reflected the bill well. Our truck got a fresh rebuild on the rear differential and the transmission was serviced. Truck is running great after their services. Staff was very professional and helpful. So far I've had a terrible experience brought my truck in on a Monday it's Saturday and it's still sitting in their shop and they haven't fixed it yet already paid for it and things just keep coming up they're sending my vehicle over to ultimate automotive without even asking me so it's my recommendation that you do not bring any car here to get fixed unless something dramatic and drastic happens on Monday

My husband and I had just had a used transmission installed in our vehicle a few days back in Florida. On our second 12-hours long day of driving, we stopped at Sioux Falls for the night. Unfortunately, we heard some worrisome sounds coming from the vehicle upon arriving at the hotel. We were worried the transmission was defective and consequently would not be able to drive the next day to finally be in our city in Canada. Very early the next morning we made a call to Tim, owner of Empire Transmission & Brake. He said to come over and he would check our car. He and his staff spent a good hour test driving the car, checking the transmission (which to our relief was fine) and after another test drive, the problem was identified. He had many other things to do and did not have to take all this time to help us, but still, he was extremely nice and generous with his time. We highly recommend this place for their kindness, understanding and honesty. Thanks to Tim and staff we were able to make it safely and with great relief back home!Service: Transmission
