This is a very simple hotel which includes the basic amenities, but needs to be remolded. Some rooms need to be updated to meet standards.Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast served daily from 6 to 9 am

I there's is nothing really specifically wrong. This is a cheap hotel room and you are getting what you pay for. If you just need the cheapest possible option for a night in Sioux Falls this is your place.

Very very rude. I paid thru Priceline. The motel charged my card before they were supposed to. When I tried to check-in they wouldn't give me my room because they wanted more money and never said anywhere that I needed more money. they said they would give me a refund I have called and Priceline has called they said they would do a refund. two days later I checked on the status of the refund and they never processed it. Call them again and they said to call back the next day again so now we're on day three and still nothing. They give you the runaround. I wouldn't recommend staying there if it was the last place around. And I wouldn't really recommend using Priceline either. I've had nothing but problems since I've started using them

I just read all of these negative reviews and had to raise my eyebrow. Sure, this isn’t a fancy hotel but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bed was fine, and the shower had no problems. The girls (I had three 18 year old toddlers) enjoyed horsing around in the pool and having it to themselves. The man even allowed them to stay a little bit past closing time.

My family and I stayed here on our road trip moving from Wisconsin out west to Washington, and I mean it when I say this was the worst hotel/motel I've ever stayed at, full stop. My first impression of this property was pulling into the lot off of 6 lanes of traffic which was immediately a pretty big hit for me. On top of that, people were smoking right next to the front door which was disgusting. I arrived at night and did not feel safe standing out in the dark even as a larger, more imposing person. Once we parked and got into our rooms, I spotted some deep gouges on the television left by what I can only assume to be a key. These deep gouges were also present on the dresser below the TV, as well as the lampshade on the bedside lamp. The beds and bedside table were fine, dated but it is a two star hotel, so I wasn't exactly expecting brand new furniture. The beds were fine, but the mattresses were so springy that it would actively bounce me if I dropped my rear onto it for a decent bit, so if you don't sleep well on springy beds, look elsewhere. The staff were fine, if somewhat apathetic, but we arrived at night, so I can't be super fussy since night shifts aren't always desirable. The vent in the bathroom hasnt been dusted in ages, with an immediately noticeable amount of dust collected on it. The metal tissue box holder was rusty, the smoke detector was loose on the ceiling, and the 'view' was so offensive that I closed the curtains just as quickly as I had opened them, as all you can see out of it is the gas station behind the property. Finally, the actual TV cable box would actually lose signal if you accidentally bumped the box even the slightest, as the coaxial cable was just jammed into the socket, whoever installed it never even bothered actually installing it correctly by screwing it onto the socket like you're supposed to, which resulted in a very sensitive cable connection. If you're looking for cheap accomodations, looks elsewhere, as this was the definition of getting what you paid for.

The bathroom sucked toilet barely flushes, hot water doesn't last at all maybe 5 minutes, drain stopper doesn't work in tub. Lights flicker often. Windows don't latch and the screens are all messed up. 90% of the appliances were not plugged in which was strange but I'm sure due to the lights flickering it was because the main electrical box is out dated and things overload the system. No radio alarm clock nor clock in the room, iron but no ironing board. No batteries in the remote for the ac. We had gone there for the hot tub for my husbands back he tweeked. No mention at all that the spa and hot tub were out of order on the website. Not even mentioned to us when we checked in. Free coffee was a joke it was nasty and the breakfast was horrible. Not to mention our room troubles as well. Service was sub par and again no mention that the hot tub was out of order by staff. It may say kid friendly however, with the tweakers wandering around there and the drunks I do not advise it. If I could give 0 stars I would. So disappointing.Rooms: The bathroom sucked toilet barely flushes, hot water doesn't last at all maybe 5 minutes, drain stopper doesn't work in tub. Lights flicker often. Floors uneven and loose. Bathroom had hair all over. Hair dryer plug in damaged; potential fire hazard. Air conditioner froze up as soon as turned on; thus room stayed hot and stuffy. Only reason I didn't cancel my room was that location was very good and close to the party location. Will not be returning

We had a bad experience with this place. The rooms and hallway are dated and stink. The bed had some weird noises...hubby said the box springs are old. The room did not appear to be entirely clean. The real issue we had was during the night two other people in another room got into an argument and were loud enough to wake us. Informed staff and supposedly they talked to the people. Didn't happen as this occurred at 1:45 a.m., 2:30 a.m., and 3:15 a.m. Hubby informed staff each time, disrupted sleep. Staff just apologized but didn't seem to be interested in giving us a discount. Breakfast is bad, they barely refill anything. DO NOT COME HERE!!!Rooms: Not good

My fiance and I rented the room for the weekend and right away noticed a problem with the water pressure in the room. We spoke to the front desk and they came in to look at the problem. We were told is was the weekend and there was nothing they could do. He said he would speak to the manager Monday morning and call us back. That never happened. We called and spoke to the manager and he was very rude. He began to cuss at my fiance. I could not believe that the manager started to cuss. That is terrible customer service. We will definitely NOT be back.

Do not stay here period. Bikes were stolen from my vehicle over night. When I went to the front desk to report theft, desk worker asked if I was sure that they were stolen. I then was told to wait for 2 hours until management got there. After "viewing the video" management said that the angle the video cameras are at did not get my vehicle. I am not convinced to security cameras are working at all. Booked l a non-smoking room the room was definitely smoked in recently. The sign at the desk stated breakfast was from 6 to 9, there was no continental breakfast. The pool was not running. They did not tell us this at checkin. And also took our credit card number for A $100 deposit..

This is the worst hotel manager we have come across in our trip across the USA, his name is Mike,There was a noisy occupant next to us, loud abusive language, and Manager Mike would not provide another safer room, so we left the hotel an hour after arriving.

I will never stay in another Econolodge! I reserved two rooms; one room with 1 queen bed, the other with 2 queen beds. One for my family of four, and another for my elderly parents. My husband, two teenage daughters, and myself arrived around 10 pm. We received a room with ONE queen bed. Being there were 4 of us, that WILL NOT work! They gave us the wrong room! I asked and was told there were rooms available with 2 beds, but they wanted to charge us more money. I should not get charged extra for their mistake! He refused to help us. I told him that two of us would have to sleep IN OUR CAR and the man working DID NOT care or offer to remedy the situation. THEN he told us that regardless of how many beds there are, they do not allow more than 2 people per room. WHAT? UMM, NOT WHAT THE WEBSITE SAYS! I just drove 5 hours. GIVE ME THE ROOM I reserved! I literally had to walk outside to avoid from yelling at this man. I was physically shaking d/t being so upset by his stupidity. At this point I finally caved. Will just pay the extra money so my daughter's have a freaking bed to sleep in! Ten minutes later, I sent my husband back to the front desk to do this... BUT, the employee briefly glanced at the computer and said there were no more rooms available. Yes, you heard that right. We had 4 full size humans to ONE room with ONE bed. Their mistake. No remedy. I took a video of my room incase they decided to pull something. I do not care that there were holes in my blankets, or that the BR sink did not drain. We JUST NEEDED to sleep. CANNOT BELIEVE I PAID MONEY FOR THIS. My car is more comfortable than the bed. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $$ for the next hotel over. I bet they would allow you to sleep in a bed.

I have stayed here, I think 3 times on the way from my home in Plover, WI to the Sturgis Biker Rally. This time a few weeks ago was the best. The guy at the counter didn't accept my Priceline code, I used my Harley-Davidson Visa & he only charged me $73.18 for a double bedroom! The other years, was around $145 each! The breakfast was great, too, but no omelets, just waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal, etc. No problem, there. He really gave me a great rate which is why they get a 5 star rating.Rooms: Clean rooms, etc.Food & drinks: Arbys next door & McDonalds across the street.

It was bullshit, wifi didn't work my phone said to not trust it so that says something, breakfast there was hardly any food but I worker would stand there and do nothing. pool was horrible, the hot tub should be hot right? it was freezing cold I think the pool would of been warmer and the water was really cloudy, we couldn't even see our feet. lastly I shouldn't have to hunt down someone to check out of the hotel. there was other people waiting to check out also, we all just walked out. the worst part is I'm hardly ever in town but I would never even wish this hotel on my worst enemy.

Seemed decent enough for the price. The clerk helped us out tremendously. Someone extended their stay thereby leaving us roomless at 2 in the morning. The clerk remembered someone checked out early and got us in a room within 10 minutes. I'd definitely stay
