I arrived at the 85th Street store in Sioux Falls this morning 9/2/24 and noticed the LED yard lights were for 25 cents each. I picked up 8 of them and put them in my basket. Grabbed one more item, then went to the checkout, and that's where the problem began. The cashier said, "Oh, sorry, those are 50 cents, and when I saw you picking them up, I remembered I needed to change the price. I said "well they're 25 cents when I picked them up, you should honor that price." The manager said no. They made a mistake and raised it 50 cents beforeIgot to the checkout. I said, "Well, you should honor the price that I saw when I put them in my cart." And they refused it, and she told me "to get over it" EXACT WORDS, so I left without purchasing anything. Another customer sided with me, and Jaw dropped at the manager rudeness. I refuse to go back to that rude store. It's not like I was a thief or anything?

Do not work here.. the manager Cassandra will not give you hours and when she does it's 3 hour shifts 3 days a week.. i quit and found a full time job and she's withholding my last paycheck.. she curses out customers on the phone misses truck day at least twice a month.. she didn't show up for my interview when i got hired another employee had to do my interview I can't believe they keep her employed there

Lights on during hours of operation store is closed but signs saids open.

I was just in this location and witnessed two younger employees be unprofessional and incredibly rude to a lady to the point this poor lady left without purchasing items. I work retail and even on my bad days I would never have that type of attitude or speak to a customer in that manner.

The store is kept fairly clean and they have a good option of holiday/seasonal items with each one that rolls around.The balloon/party section is smaller so I don't think I would choose this location to get a huge amount of things for a party.Overall I like this location a lot compared to other dollar stores.
