Picked up a car, drove out of the lot, heard a clicking looked and found a large nail in the tire. Brought the car back to replace it with a safe vehicle. Four months later I receive a bill for over $400 to replace the tire and “loss of use”. As a long time AVIS Preferred member, I question ever using AVIS again. Do not use this location.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Don’t rent from them if you want to be talked to like a child. Don’t rent from them if you are going one way. If you want to be lied to, rent from them. I was a presidents club member. If Avis allows this behavior by its “franchise” partners? Then Avis is not for me or you. Move down the counter better options. I will no. Longer use Avis after many years. Everything is a fight: Has to be better options.

Booked an mid size. Showed up and the claim a Chevy Spark (clown car) is in that class. Then they claim they don't have any other cars. So, have to return later this evening to see if anything larger is returned.

First of all, the girl behind the counter had ZERO customer service skills. We went to get a rental because we were going to see family and had no a/c in our vehicle and the girl said "our policy requires a credit card". No sorry, nothing but an attitude. Second of all the website said "debit cards accepted". So we reserved the vehicle with our card only to find out that after a 60 mile drive that they dont accept debit cards OR cash. We had to rearranged our plans due to this issue

I paid Expedia for flight hotel and car rental. After flying from Nashville to south Dakota avis wouldn't let me pick up my car I paid for because I got rid of my credit cards due to bad economy. The other places was out of cars for the next two days. For two days I had to uber lift taxi around. Expedia and avis have yet to refund me for a car I never received. Expedia and avis needs to warn people that you are going to be scammed. Once you pay them they are done with you.

Estimated Charge $240.37. Final invoice $542.88 because of a Sunday afternoon, missed-closing return time at destination. Employees and manager would not adjust the invoice down. Misleading and disingenuous!

No issues. There was a line when I picked up my car. The associate greeted each customer with the same energy. If there was a cosmetic problem with the car, he listed it. The associate instructed the individual to return if they noticed anything else not mentioned.I was given a Buick that I felt comfortable driving in the snow and ice. No issues occurred with the drop-off of the car. Everything was quick and simple.

Avis at Sioux Falls airport is rude. They are not customer friendly and talk down to you. Do not rent from them go somewhere else.

Do not rent from AVIS Sioux Falls, SD. They are terrible and don't answer their phones. Due to a flight cancelation I needed to change my reservation so that a friend could rent the car that was held for us. They did that but screwed up the billing and still charged me. Corporate will not talk to me because my name is not on the rental agreement but they still charged me for the rental and will not reverse the charge that they screwed up. They said I needed to call the branch. After several atempts to call the brance and leavwe a call back number they never do. My friend tried calling corporate to get it corrected and they can't do it for some other excuse and we have to call the local branch. never again.

Returned car with a fuel receipt with the keys in the drop box. Still got charged for the fuel service fee. Don't know how I can better communicate to these people .... went back down to the desk and spoke to the agent after the counter opened and she was clueless and had no idea how to fix it. I will start using a different company in the future, AVis does this every single time. fraud.

DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS SIOUX FALLS!!!!!!I rented a car for a family trip and returned the car full gas, clean and in great condition which was returned and checked in. Four months later we received a repair bill stating an issue with the car underneath that could have never been discovered unless the car was a licensed mechanic on a lift rack. We called and the local manager was rude. Did not care that we are VIP Avis customers. Did not care that there was a receipt as evidence the car checked in and accepted. Go to Enterprise or Hertz or any other car rental company.THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT FACTS OR CUSTOMER RIGHTS.

Crooks. Don't rent from this business. You opt out of their fuel charge, yet it still ends up on your bill. I point that out to the desk agent and he tells me that I have to call Avis customer service to ask for a reimbursement. Seems like they like to run their customers around in circles in hopes that you give up and get charged for all their service fees.

Despite reservations, confirmation, prearrival response to their email and me calling the local agent to confirm late arrival and make sure they had our flight number so we would have transportation, NO agent at counter when we arrived at 100AM. Counter dark and closed up.Strongly recommend NOT to use this business to rent a car here. I have been to this airport dozens and dozens of times over the past twenty five years, never with such disrespect for the customer.

RIP OFF ALERT 1) charged 2x what national and hertz would have charged. 2) no one way rentals 3) (worse part) charged $10 fuel service fee when I filled up at airport at return. RIP OFF
