Avera HME draws patients into a rental plan for CPAP equipment that costs nearly $600 more per year out of pocket than it would cost to purchase the machine outright. They also sometimes bill twice within a 30 day period (i.e. the 7th and the 22nd of the month or the 6th and the 13th). Finally, they robo call and don't answer their phone when you call back. Poor customer service, poor billing practices and horrible pricing... three strikes.

My power chair motors were making lots of noise so we made an appointment. Jason and Jeff ( the team) got to work immediately and found the motor responsible for the noise. They were going to check if it is on warranty and will notify us. We got 5 *2 Star treatment so I should give them a 10 Star review. Quick and easy very professional.

I've been coming to Avera Home Medical equipment for years . They are always very friendly , knowledgeable, and care about how they they can make you feel comfortable.

Was charged an extra month for an oxygen tank I returned a day late. They will not pro-rate or reverse charges. On top of still recovering and trying to pay hospital bills I'm not charged for an extra month of a tank I'm not even using.

My 96-year-old mother became quite ill and hospitalized for a couple of days. We returned her home and made an appointment for an Avera home nurse visit. Meghan (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly!) came over and was so great. She spent all the time required, asked all the necessary questions, and left us feeling like we were really in charge of my mother's health. She was a great representative for Avera. I'm not sure I've ever been so ompressed with a health care worker. THANK YOU MEGHAN!!
