I brought a ring of my mothers in to this shop to sell. I have had the ring appraised at The Diamond Room here in SF and they told me it was a 3/4 carat. They gave me a price if I wanted to sell it and told me it was a nice diamond.When I brought the ring into this shop about 6 weeks ago he offered me a price and I wasn’t ready to part with it yet but now I was and brought it back. He told me it was a fake diamond?! Say what?? So you’re telling me The Diamond Room, one of the best diamond stores in Sioux Falls didn’t know it was a fake diamond. Sorry, this guy either don’t know his diamonds or he’s a thief. Be aware. I don’t normally do these kind of reviews but when I know someone is fully lying then I want to expose them.

This place is so amazing and has such a beautiful selection of antiques, especially antique jewelry! Fred was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I picked out two rings that I loved that didn’t fit quite right and he resized them for me and polished them while I was still in the store! I would highly recommend this shop and I am so excited for all of my future visits! Thank you so much Fred!
