The pharmacists and staff were working so hard today to fill everyone’s medicines. You could tell they were overwhelmed and they treated everyone with kindness and worked relentlessly without a break. They filled my son’s antibiotics as fast as they could. I appreciate their kindness in helping my son. People need to be way nicer to them!!!

What a jokeMy wife recently switch to Walgreens Pharmacy ( on the advice of her supplemental insurance agent for Medicare Part D) On her first time in the drive through she sat waiting for over an hour (closer to 90 minuets ) for her prescriptions to be dispensed. *Note The prescriptions are filled at a central location according to a person in Walgreens, and then delivered to the outlying or noncentral pharmacies! Meaning there is no same day delivery, filling, or refilling, if needed. We have been waiting for a week for Walgreens, on Mount Rushmore Road, to confirm if they have her needed Glucose sensor. When calling, we are confronted with the automated phone circus trying to talk to a real person. This is unacceptable because of this we are changing back to our old pharmacy Where when we called we could talk to a real person or the pharmacist if needed and there was NO waiting endlessly in line at the drive up window to pick up medications or medical devices.I would not even give them a single star but have to for this review to be posted

Have to wait sometimes, but not too long. Generally helpful when you get an employee.

Had an emergency and the pharmacy technician was so helpful and got my prescription ready on a Saturday right before closing and even helped with a coupon! The whole store was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for great service!

I frequently shop at Walgreens because their selection of makeup and cosmetics is quite large - many choices. Recently I used their photo service to make copies of some pictures I will be mailing. The phot dept staff is very well trained, very patient and friendly and will answer any questions I have. I used to use the Walmart on Stumer Rd for copying photos but that dept has machines that are not functioning and the worst part is that the staff seems very uninterested in helping the customers. Last time I called and had to leave a message for the actual store manager and never was acknowledged. I usually don't post negative reviews but the situation has been so unsatisfactory that I just had to mention the comparison with Walgreens Photo dept. Prices are great and you can obtain a discount if you are a Walgreens Rewards member. Can't lose!

The pharmacy never asks if I need someone to answer questions on my meds anymore. They don't know what they have available medically in the store besides what they handle. I am on crutches and go through the drivethrough with my mother who is helping me get around. At the drive-through they refused to get me a cast cover to add on to my med purchase. Instead they said I'd need to come in and get it. Horrible customer service. They only care about the paycheck.

For 2 months the service has been terrible not only within their telephone services but mostly at Walgreens on Mnt View and W Main. I've dealt with hr long drive thru lanes, blatant lies about medications and their eta's and complete negligence from the company of Walgreens. My last straw was THE worst customer service from both the pharmacist and a young gal named Brooklyn. I wasn't easy to work with because I have texts messages saying my prescriptions were ready but they weren't even available at that location.... I wasn't easy to work with because I've talked with 3 representatives from Walgreens assuring that their mistakes have been fixed. When I said I would most likely take my business elsewhere, Brooklyn agreed that I should. When I showed the pharmacist the text message saying my prescriptions were ready but they actually weren't, she closed the metal window on me with out an explanation.I've been in customer service my entire life. These days customer service is vital. When Brooklyn tells me that Walgreens doesn't need my business, it is clear she hasn't been trained. When the pharmacist who isn't professionally dressed closes the metal window on me clearly hasn't been trained on how to conduct herself in a tough situation. I hope I never have to deal with the incompetence that Walgreens, as a company, facilitates.

I use chime for banking l, I've made larger deposits in the past but today the rude cashier wouldn't even try, her and her manager today were especially rude when all I'm trying to do is use one of their services I got a Christmas bonus and wanted to deposit it but they would only take $500 today..... last week a different and much more helpful individual and her manager put a little effort into helping me and was able to deposit all the money without an issue but today that's just not possible, not like I don't have anything else to do today

The pharmacy staff is incompetent. I constantly have to call my prescriber to fix my orders because they can't keep them straight. Today I choose to write a review because the pharmacy member I called today was unprofessional, rude and kept interrupting me. She did not give her name when she answered and even the greeting was not professional you could tell by her tone of voice she didn't even care. Very poor customer service.

Be prepared for extremely unprofessional service, with the exception of one or two pharmacists. Waiting on the phone for 30 minutes or more is not uncommon. They will keep hanging you, putting you on hold. I have been given absolutely wrong information and talked to rudely by unprofessional "teenage" sounding girls. Very unprofessional and they don't seem to care or want to improve.

Frequently incredibly disgustingly slow drive-up. Most current occurance: after the long wait I expected to see a single person struggling to do their best only to find 4 people. It was as if everyone showed up with new prescriptions and upon learning the wait time for them to be ready said "okay I'll just sit here until it is then"

A couple of weeks ago I left the Walgreen's drive through after waiting over 30 minutes. (Two other vehicles left before me.) I then went inside and waited for another 15 minutes. Since this was my first experience with the store, I asked the pharmacist (delicately) if the 30 minutes drive-through experience was typical in regard to a wait period. She replied rather defensively that they had a lot to do--namely testing people for COVID. She was basically shaming me for the query. I don't mind waiting--especially when especially longs waits are not the norm of the store. However, I have since discovered that other customers have had similar experiences at this Walgreens. They became frustrated over time and switched to other establishments. I found a great locally owned pharmacy just down the road. It's always good form for staff members to thank or at least empathize with the customer for their patience during a particularly long wait. It would have made the difference to me. I would have given this Walgreens another try. Walgreens Mount Rushmore Road Rapid City, South Dakota
