I came in to return my unopened product WITH a receipt. The clerk and a manager told me I cannot return this because I do not have a phone number. There is no other way to return it. I said so I should just throw this product away and never shop here again. The answer was Yes! Also, come on people... the he/she clerk covered in makeup is a mockery to all woman.

Wow really absolutely not a single person offered to help ir greeted us. I was there hoping to get make up help. I had one employee out of 4 standing by the make up counter who was doing make up on a lady he was nice enough to ask if i had an appointment but that it another girl just kept talking and the other girl was clea ing hwr make up brushes. All the othwr employee that walked passed me in the 20 min i was in the store looked at me and kept walking. I found it to be very unfriendly and not very interested in making money. The store was very u kept. Alot of things without a price or sign with pricing. I wont be spending money here thats for sure

Have been a devoted client for a few years and the reason is they are ALWAYS friendly, accommodating , listen and do their best to make my experiences there fabulous! I come from Boston and Rapid City,SD Ulta is right up there with the best! Kudos Vera!

I was shopping around for a new eyebrow tech. Made an appointment today and arrived ten minutes early. While shopping around, I was completely ignored by the staff. Wasn't sure where to check in so I walked to the back where a staff member walked by me and proceeded to sit down, looked right at me but didn't acknowledge me at all. Finally, an employee approached me and I told her I had an eyebrow appointment. She told me to go stand and wait for my tech. Walked over where two employees stood and talked. Yet, too busy talking to acknowledge me at all. I waited until my appointment time came and felt so uncomfortable just standing there I left. I've never had such a random unwelcoming experience. My husband was with me and we fully intended on making future facial appointments and he was treating me so I could replenish my makeup stock. I would be more understanding if they were busy, but there were more employees than customers in the store at the time. Walked out with nothing, very disappointing.

I went in for a second ear piercing today. The person who pierced it was super quick about it; I just picked the earring and the location and bam! Barely even felt it. They're super sterile about it too. My ear only warmed up and had a slight sting for less than a minute. By the time I got back to my car, the pain was completely gone. Obviously different people experience pain differently, but I'd say they did an excellent job. The price is really reasonable too. It cost me $55 for the piercing, the earring, and the cleaning solution (and the earring I picked was 24k gold). I only did one ear, so I hoped it'd be half off; but compared to other places $55 for one piercing is super affordable (most places I checked range from ($80-$110). Although, if I'd wanted to, it wouldn't have cost me extra to get both pierced. She even gave me the second earring in case I decide to get the second ear pierced later. So all in all, whether you're going in for another piercing or you're looking to get your first one(s), this is the place to go.

One of the associates told my girlfriend that they only carry a specific product on their online store, then we found said product less than 10 feet away from where the associate was standing and talking to another worker about stuff un-related to work.
Wish the employees were more helpful and attentive to their work environment.

Love this Ulta, Hannah helped me with a color match and it was a wonderful experience! I was very nervous and she was kind the entire way through. Very much recommend.

I love going into the Rapid City store. The associates are so helpful. They are basically at your beck and call. They are great at knowing exactly what you are describing.

Vera Luna is amazing, she saved my skin!!!!! She deserves to be recognized on every beauty platform. She started working on my skin 2 months ago, before I saw her I was so embarrassed and ashamed to even walk out of my house because my skin had gotten so bad and I’d never had acne before. Just in a few months she’s completely given me my confidence back. She knows what she’s doing, IF YOU WANT BEAUTIFUL SKIN GO SEE HER! ?

My credit card was stolen. Within an hour of the theft it was used in person, at the Rapid City, SD. Ulta Beauty location. I received notice, cancelled my card and made a police report.Ulta Beauty in Rapid City refused to cooperate with law enforcement and is making them get a warrant to view their security footage. When visited by law enforcement, the store staff remembered the thieves and the $1000 purchase attempt.However, Ulta policy will not release the security footage so that Law enforcement can catch these thieves in a timely manner. Their policy enables high dollar theft. 3 weeks later, law enforcement still waits for the valuable information that Ulta could have immediately provided. So, these thieves continue to steal and sadly due to their policy, you might be next. Thanks UltaNeedless to say, this company will never see another dime of my money.

I am sitting outside this location as I write this. When I first walked in it was kind of hectic. But the crowd thinned out quickly. I had 3 different sales reps walk right past me and asked others if they needed help. Maybe they were there before me. But when you walk back by me the second time and do the same thing there's something wrong. After about 20 minutes of being ignored I left. As I was leaving there were 2 associates behind the counter. One was working, and the other was just standing there staring at me until I was out the door. The absolute worst customer service I have experienced in the 8 months. I've lived here. I had $1,800.00 I wanted to spend in your store tonight for Christmas gifts. You might want to mention that to your staff.
