It is a one-stop shop for party supplies, crafts, gifts, and decor for various holidays and traditions. The store is perfect for model car enthusiasts, offering a massive variety of paints and tools for customizing models. It also has a great section for pencils, color pencils, paints, and markers, including alcohol markers, paint markers, brush tip markers, and fine liners. The selection is vast, even including specialty items like dragonfly color shifting paint. It is considered the best art store in the Black Hills. The store is always organized with well-displayed, easy-to-understand prices, and employees are very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. While most experiences are positive, custom framing services can sometimes have inconsistencies, with occasional imperfections in the finished frames. Overall, Michaels is a favorite place to shop for crafting, celebrated for having everything needed for life’s special moments.
I went in to find fabric to refinish the bottom of my chairs, they had a bottom selection of different thickness for this type of project. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
