DO NOT hire lowes or kluge bros to install your floors... I arranged for lowes to install new flooring in my house. The installer(Kluge Bros) began taking the old flooring out and was told that we wanted to save the old flooring, we also told lowes this. They took the old flooring out wrapped it up nice and neat put it in their vehicle, when asked about the old flooring they told us that it was damaged during removal and was thrown away, sounds a little suspect to me. Anyways the kluge began installing the new flooring, it was cut terrible and the gaps were unsightly, i think my grand daughter could have done better, the gaps were out 3/4 inch from the wall and a 1/4 inch from the trim, it looked like junk. No under lament was taped down so the flooring moved. Kluge also broke a water line when moving the fridge, he stated its just a little drip we can just put the fridge back, kluge did not know how to shut off the water, he then proceeded to start yelling at my wife and calling her profane names. Kluge then took the crew and said were leaving, walked out in the middle of the job. We called lowes and an employee said he is known for yelling at customers and even lowes employees, and lowes is sending this guy out to customers houses? When the kluge foreman walked out he took 5 boxes of flooring with him, when confronted he said it was some of the old flooring scraps, if the flooring was damaged when it was taken up why would he want to take it with him, he took some of the new floor. There is a lot more to this story but i think i wrote more than people would read.. in short we hired lowes in good faith to install our floors, between kluge and lowes nothing has been made right from anybody. We just want somebody to do the right thing and it looks like once again the little guy is getting the shaft from the big stores. If you look at reviews on lowes in rapid city the reviews are less than stellar for lowes or kluge bros. Save yourself and your sanity, hire someone yourself, someone that has integrity and pride in a good honest job well done, obviously neither lowes or kluge bros is interested in that, just how much money they can make off of the working class chump. I have lots of pictures if anybody cares to look at the shotty work than was partially done.

This lowes has the worst customer service I have ever received at a Lowe's. Without fail, every time we go and need assistance it takes multiple attempts to get someone to address our needs. We have waited in different areas of the store for well over a half hour for any kind of help to arrive after having walked to the front of the store to request help in our section (blinds, wood cutting, appliances, etc). When we go to the customer service counter there is usually only one or two employees there who can usually NOT answer any of our questions. They are slow, disorganized, and unhelpful. Our orders always take much longer than the expected pick up date and there is no communication from the store as to why it takes so long or when things will be ready. Do not recommend this location which is sad since it is the only lowes in town.

This place is horrible!! No one ever answers the customer service line and when you show up in person, they are standing outside smoking and joking. No one seems to know what they are doing or how to get things done and out of 14 employees standing at the desk during one visit, no one could manage a return. They all state the place is a big cluster and they don't have a manager. Highly recommend that you never visit the Rapid City Lowe's if you value your time, money and sanity.

This store is one of the worst stores I've ever been in. Slow, understaffed and isles are impossible to maneuver around in with larger items.

I went in looking for flooring and the people that work here are very helpful and knowledgeable. It was such a change from what I am used to. Thank you for you help and advice.

Ordered a dishwasher online, with pickup service at the store. Got home (100 miles away) and they had loaded a white whirlpool instead of a stainless steel Samsung! Spent days trying to get through to the store. Phone would ring for 20-30 minutes and then someone would pick up the receiver and hang it up. I finally had a friend go to the store and put me on speaker to try to find out if they had my dishwasher in stock so I didn't make a trip for nothing. She told me she couldn't help me until I returned the other dishwasher or I should talk to the appliance manager but I would have to call the store number. (The one they refuse to answer! WTH) . Left another message with corporate customer service line and was told I'd hear from the store manager or appliance manager within 72 hours. Nope. Waited another week and made the trip back to the store and they luckily had my dishwasher and said they would give me a credit to help cover cost and inconvenience of wrong item. Still hasn't gone through my credit card after 3 weeks. Left a message a few days ago but, surprise, surprise, radio silence. We've been good customers for over 15 years, can't walk through a room in our house without seeing lighting, tile, appliances from Lowes. Sad to say we are finished shopping there. Great products, worst customer service!!

if I could choose zero stars I would. Ordered a new refrigerator and delivery was set for Thursday 10/13. Tried to reach the store to confirm delivery window call was stillcoming after no call had occurred on 10/12 by 5pm. No one at the store will pick up the phone. After nearly 15 minutes someone in hardware finally picked up the phone and was able to tell us they would call before 8pm. Delivery arrives on time on Thursday and old refrigerator is removed from house. New refrigerator is brought it and it's no where near what was ordered. They tried to deliver an apartment sized fridge. Approx $2000 less than model that was supposed to be delivered. Offered to leave wrong model until correct one could be brought but would prefer we not use it if we don't have to. Asked them to take it with them as did not want to be responsible for something that we did not own. Called back to store to figure out when correct refrigerator would be delivered and after another 15 minutes to get someone to answer phone the rudest person ever answered. Said we could get it delivered by Saturday. Could care less that we would be without a refrigerator for 2 days due to their screw up and offered nothing in return. "Corporate" replied to a Facebook post and their private message response was nothing more than canned wording and verification that we are set for delivery sometime on Saturday. Wish this town had more options. We will not be giving them another dime.

Manager is an arrogant know it all and will tell you no one can complain about him. He is right. Lowe's corporate does not care, they want you to go to their competition so I will. Canceling my Lowe's Card. Never step in a Lowe's again.

The worst service ever. They are great at taking your money but don't count on ever getting your product delivered. Menards has much better service.

Sad to say that Lowe's has really gone down the hill big time! Will admit that they might sell some decent products, however they do NOT follow through on their delivery and other promises. If you need some type of appliance go ahead & let them deliver and take away old! However expect to end up paying for someone else to do the installation of of said appliance.I brought a washer & drier from them 3 months ago that they had to come out and re-install due to their delivery people not understanding how to install. They had not even bothered to balance the dryer. That meant I lost two days due to their faulty installment, because I was given a 4 hour window each time.Just last Saturday they delivered a refrigerator with an ice maker! Hey it is exactly what I wantedd and thought it would be. However I asked twice about installation of ice maker prior to paying, with the same yes it will be installed as part of their free delivery. Upon delivery they did not connect the ice maker as promised when they delivered it. They had all sorts of excuse. So after the delivery on Saturday I called the store twice. The first call I got disconnected after wainting almost 15 minutes for someone to answer. The second, call I waited over 20 minutes before I hung up & just went to the store. Finally the store sends someone out to install the ice maker today. They called at 9:20 to say they would be at my house in 10 to 15 minutes. At 10:50 he finally arrived with no tools, just an extra hose. All he had to do was hook up the hose to where the old hose had been. "I'm no plumber' lady" was what the guy said. Not even sure he understood even half of what he was supposed to do so he left.

Given ONE of the TWO ONLY days that most Americans are off work during a normal week, and this Lowe's is closed?!!!!! Not sure how this makes good business sense, but seems like a huge lack of common business sense.
