There was no housekeeping two days in a row. First day they told us it was because there was clothes on the beds. Fine. Second day, we made sure there was nothing on the beds and this time they didn't even bother going into our room. When we brought it up with front desk, it turns out they apparently put down that they cleaned our room even though it was not. By then it was already very late and we were checking out the next day. Front desk guy said something along the lines of "I'm on your side but I also have to be on their (housekeeping's) side too" ??? I mean, it seems pretty unacceptable for them to claim to have cleaned up our room when they did no such thing. Especially considering we were charged a resort fee every single day.

I was not expecting what I found. One negative was my room was not ready at 5PM.
But all else was super.

The manager and the sweet lady checking me in were awesome! The lobby is very beautiful. My room well it wasn't so nice. There was dry blood on the wall. The room was pretty dirty. Breakfast was amazing! I just had the buffet. The girl that was helping me was very nice. The others pretty much ignore you. The guy who sat me was really nice and welcoming. The staff when I left was nice.

A great experience staying at this location. First time in Rapid City and the entire staff is welcoming. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Close walking distance to downtown and right next to a convention center. Kudos to the Gold Bisson Grill staff! Great and pleasant service
Nearby activities: Short walk to Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Adjacent to The Monument (entertainment venue). Memorial Park (WWII remembrance)
Walkability: Very accesible walk to downtown shops and restaurants

Service desk was always super kind and helpful when we needed new room keys, the bar has a delicious drink menu and sweet staff. The room was super clean and filled with high quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which is always appreciated. 10/10 stay for a high quality experience.
Food and drinks: The signature restaurant that resides here is an absolutely delicious stop for an avid Eggs Benedict lover. Expensive tho.

This is a beautiful hotel, but it does need to have a maintenance manager with a good eye go through it and take care of some deferred maintenance issues before it gets worse.
Rooms: We had a beautiful large room but the bathrooms are quite tiny and the toilet is positioned at least 8 inches from the wall so that it makes the room seem even smaller than it is!
Food and drinks: The food and beverages were excellent as was the staff at the bar, the bar staff were great, however the bar seat covers are so dilapidated that the vinyl cover is just falling right off!!!!

Though our room was nice, our car was broken into during our stay. When the police came to make a report, they mentioned this is not the first time this has happened in this parking lot. There are no security cameras outside to deter theft. I would not stay here again.
