Usually use Enterprise for car rentals. Might have to rethink.Did the pay for pre fill up when returned. Big mistake brought back with 3/4 of a tank. They didn't tell us no refunds on the extra fuel not used

Friendly and professional staff. The vehicle I was rented far exceeded my expectations. This is without a doubt the best enterprise branch I have ever dealt with.I will be renting from them again!

I use Enterprise whenever I need a rental car.The cars have always been clean and appear to be well maintained. I normally get my rental vehicles at the Enterprise location on 1254 East North St Rapid City SD. They have all ways treated me well, picked me up, and delivered me when needed.I recently had the opportunity to use them at Columbus Ohio Airport. That was different.Staff at the counter were friendly. I was directed to parking bay to select my vehicle. 1st time, I have had the experience of selecting the vehicle I wanted from a line of available vehicles. I was a little lost, and there did not appear to be an Enterprise representative available to guide me.After about 5 minutes, a representative from another rental car company came over and explained how to select my vehicle and which gate to drive out of to be checked out by Enterprise. The person at the Enterprise gate was efficient. Noted and looked at some minor scratches on the vehicle, and I was off on the road.Turning the vehicle in was very easy. The attendant was friendly and courteous. Asked some questions about the vehicle, explained where to leave it and the keys.There is a free shuttle service between the airport and the rental car area.

Great customer service. I had used this rental service through my insurance when my truck was in the shop. I didn't have to do a thing. The service reps took care of everything. Answered all my questions right away and gave me a ride back to my truck when it was done.Would definitely recommend this business.

BEWARE do not rent from these lying, cheating criminals in Rapid City, SD. They fake charge and make up damage. They tried to charge $3000 for fake "hail" damage! There was zero damage and no hail. I wish I listened to all the reviews before I rented from them.

I have to say that I will never have anything to do with this company again. Here, a travel agency has rented a van for a month. i.e. from 2 July to 2 August. We land in the USA on 20 July. The car is delivered by the travel company on 21 July. en route to our holiday, we are told that the lease expires on 2 August. we will then contact the travel agency. They have then gone bankrupt. we then contact the rental company. say we want to rent the car for 7 days. they put 1 dollar reserved on the card. The next morning we wake up to a phone call from the Bank that 7,100 dollars has been reserved.We then travel up to the rental company. they don't want to listen to anything. they just say they want money. I then make a phone call to them. explains to them what has happened. after a fair and pleasant conversation. They say we will call you back later that day. it is not going to happen. they are closed on weekends. and we now have no money to complete the holiday. So for being honest and kind. then you get run over by an incredibly poor service from the company. so in short. then we have to pay 2 months' rent and deliver the car every week in denver, they deduct 1000 dollars more because it MUST BE DELIVERED IN CHICAGO. even if we were only going to rent it for 7 days. so again thanks Enterprise for rubbish service and poor follow-up.I travel a lot in the US and elsewhere in the world. and I will never use you again or anyone I know. so for you to receive from us now 7,000 to 8,000 dollars. you lose many customers from Norway, Sweden and Denmark. we are a total of 25 people on the trip. who all say this further.

We have used this Enterprise agency and have always had stellar service as well as products, until this past week.The staff was very professional again, well, sort of. When I commented on the state of the car, the young woman looked at me with a surprised face and said, "I guess that I can wipe it down when we're finished "..............The car that I was assigned was filthy!The exterior as well as the interior. The floors were the only clean surface for the entire vehicle.There was only a 1/2 tank of gas in the car!The windows and exterior were so dirty that as soon as I left the lot I had to go to a car wash!The car wreaked of cigarette smoke.The steering wheel was sticky, as well as the gearshift and door handles, and there were dried-muddy paw prints covering every surface inside the car.I had to clean the exterior and the front of the interior just so that I could drive it!And for fun, the "MAINTENANCE REQUIRED" as well as the "CHECK ENGINE" lights came on constantly!!Finally, this was a hybrid. Should be totally silent. This engine screeches so loud whenever it idles or is put in reverse.!!!!!!! Perhaps there is a reason for that check engine light!?!We returned it early.........I do hope that this isn't your new model of service and product.

Worse experience ever should be negative rating. Upon picking up rental car we notice damages and reported to clerk, sadly contract provided the electronically, so the staff never noted our notes on the damages. Once we returned rental, no concerns or problems brought up until they called days later to report damages to the car. First, the car was nowhere in Rapid City after the car was picked up, yet they claimed hail damage, and there were no hail reports in the area where the car was utilized. Received an email from damage recovery that included the damages we reported to them the day we picked up the car. Sent email back requesting justification on their claims. If no resolution, I will file a formal complaint through the SD Insurance Fraud unit. Also noted several stories online from customers experiencing similar issues with Enterprise Rental nationwide. It's good to know that this is happening more frequently than ever. Be aware consumers.
