“Pricey for sure. Couldn’t quite figure out what this store was about. Other than if you are a tourist it’s cute to walk in. I got some expensive deodorant and a nice nac. Was looking for lotion, based off the reviews I read. They have pricey body stuff, but I didn’t see lotion. Seems you can make candles there, but clothing, buy Knick knacks, even chocolate. Cute stop in place”

“Tracy and all the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Best Eddie Bauer we have seen as we have traveled various areas. We really love the clothes. They are truly a must have go to staple in so many aspects of our wardrobes. My husband says I have a coat problem as I am quite fond of all the coats Eddie Bauer carries. I have a coat to go with any variation of weather. Especially, the days where temps are below zero. I have a special coat to accommodate. They are stylish, sophisticated, and great quality. Rivaling other brands. I also have so many pants that I wear for work. They are exceptional quality and unbelievably comfortable. I am huge on comfort and feel. I love being able to see the quality and fit. I do not prefer online shopping. I am so happy we have our local Eddie Bauer and it’s definitely our go to.”

“was in Rapid City for work and had some time to kill when I noticed the sign for Down 7th Clothing. I decided to check it out, and I’m so glad I did! This boutique is absolutely adorable with something for everyone. The owner (I believe her name is Misty—sorry if I got that wrong!) was so sweet and helpful.
Normally I struggle to find clothes I really love, but she kept bringing pieces out from the back that she thought would suit me—and she was spot on every time. I actually ended up buying the items she recommended over the ones I had originally picked myself!
This shop is definitely a must-see when you’re in South Dakota. I’ll be stopping by every time I’m in town!”
“I thoroughly enjoyed this store for several reasons. They were welcoming of not just me but my African Grey…so friendly that I think they wanted it to be named Buffalo and become that mascot! Secondly they were so welcoming of my friend, helped her find the right outfit for her interview and post job party outfit too. Outstanding. I was greeted with customer service and the transaction process was seamless and enjoyable to say the leasts. The boutique is spacious but not lacking, bright but not blinding and peaceful but not outlandishly. The prices are spot on and I literally had to encourage her not to buy the whole store. My African Grey on the other hand needs to learn how to give autographs, am I write everyone who was there? As they say in the Hills, Shop, eat and don’t rest until your shop some more…and more. Enjoy and tell Erin we Arlo and the Grey say “hi””

I do wish their store was bigger though. It's very small for the amount of merchandise. Also, the prices are pretty high. Candles can run up to 30-60 dollars.”

“Roam’n Around is a four season clothing and outfitter in downtown Rapid City. Huge inventory with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was in a group of 6 hiking the nearby Centennial Trail. The owners, Jon and Bridget, were incredibly helpful providing shuttle services. We had a lot of bad weather which caused multiple short notice plan changes. They were super flexible and always able to adapt and fulfill our needs. Happy to say that we are now friends. Highly recommend!”
