We stayed here for a few days over a long weekend. Although the first night we had an issue with our room, when we spoke with the staff the next morning, they went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was resolved and that we were happy with our stay. Great service!

Recently stayed in room 27 which was just remodeled. What a great and clean cabin. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants a nice, clean, and quiet stay while in Rapid City. I also appreciate that they are military friendly. Great job Deb and gang.

We had a great stay, clean room great showers the only thing they could improve on is the kitchenette. Very small stove and small refrigerator. Other than that great place to stay in the fall sit outside your room and have a beautiful view of the Lake and mountain.

Stayed here for Sturgis and would definately do it again! Centrally located for everywhere we wanted to go. Great accommodations, beautiful view and friendly staff!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Canyon Lake Resort. It was in the center of everything we wanted to do. The staff was great and paid attention to our needs. It was also nice to have be alongside the park where we took walks between visiting the main attractions. We highly recommend it.

Big king-size bed AC is a little bit loud not a big deal. I can't check in during normal hours but customer service left a message with instructions to get the keys ??

We had a great room right on the lake. It was so tranquil to sit outside. The room was very clean. It was very nice to have a fridge, stove, microwave, and coffee pot.Nearby activities: This motel is right by a beautiful park along the lake. It was a true pleasure to walk and hear all the wildlife.

I stayed here for around a month, and it was such a great experience! Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and I felt very at home even when I was away from home. Such a beautiful location as well with lots of walking trails/activities nearby!

We went for my husband’s cousin reunion, and had an amazing time. The main cabin was as big enough for all of us to enjoy time together. There was enough room for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 20 of us. The view was beautiful! We stood in one of the studio cabins, it was cute and lots of room. The only thing I would say is the beds are rock hard! We had a hard time sleeping and waking up with our backs hurting. Other than that we would definitely comeback and recommend family and friends to stay here.

I can not say enough good things about staying here, perhaps the best decisions of our vacation. The room was cold, which we loved, clean, beds were comfortable, and right outside our cottage door was a beautiful lake, ducks, geese, free paddle boats, we didn't want to leave. Just what I needed.

A convenient place for us to stay. The atmosphere was great. It was such a nice area with outside spaces for walking. The room was nothing special but adequate.

The Canyon Lake resort has become our favorite place to stay in Rapid City. The rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable, and the hospitality is excellent! A real bonus is the rate doesn’t double or triple during tourist season like many other hotels/motels in the Hills.

Awesome little place to relax by the water. Cabin stays and tent camping.
