Pilot Travel Center in Murdo is a busy stop just off the interstate. It offers gasoline, diesel, and a convenient RV pull-through pump area. There is an RV dump station, though its placement and a non-working water supply are noted as inconvenient. The location provides a great selection of drinks, lots of snacks, and craveable food like pizza and Subway sandwiches. The atmosphere and employees are enjoyed by visitors. However, the layout can be weird with one-way fueling, potentially causing customers to get blocked in. Parking is often inconvenient and the area can be extremely busy with cars and people everywhere. For truckers, amenities like overnight parking and showers are available, but the internet service is frequently described as horrible. Some customers feel overcharged for store items after paying to park. Despite these issues, it remains a common and essential stop for many drivers on the road.
Bad gas here. E15 instead of E10, and maybe there's some hidden no ethanol pumps but I didn't see them. Go across the street and get E10 for the same price, or zero ethanol if you need it.
Subway was fine, bathroom was acceptable.

Shower was clean and employee's nice not sure who installed the shower soap dish upside down though.... I'd give them a hard time...

Pilot is just off the interstate, that’s what I like! Restrooms are accessible n easy to find, great selection of drinks to keep you hydrated! And lotsa snacks to hold over.
