I broke my My brand new toro like third time using it and he happened to have the part I needed on hand. so I drove 45 miles up And by giving him the model he couldn't figure out what part I needed so I had to buy two different types and he explained he's not a Toro dealer anymore. wouldn't go out of my way to go there he didn't seem that knowledgeable or know how to use a computer to look parts up but he got me going again right before big blizzard so in that situation you're going go to whoever has the part. and other situations I wouldn't recommend it if you have a choice of going other places. I wouldn't buy one from that's for sure it looked like all used equipment he had and yeah like he could close up tomorrow.

Great fast service, very fair price for my repair, that another area repair shop had no interest in doing. See my previous post if you want know who that was. When I need to retire my 14 year old rider I will buy a new zero turn from Mitchell Power!

Larry has exceptional knowledge of the equipment he maintains. There is fast turnaround. When I bring things in for repair or maintenance I get them back within a week for sure.

About 2 1/2 years ago I purchased a Toro TimeCutter (new) form a Toro dealer 25 miles from where I live (Henke Tractor Repair, Parkston, SD ) because the new local dealer ( Mitchell, SD Power Equipment) didn't carry the larger (riding) Toro machines at that time. My Toro now needs some warranty work done to it (carb) and the local dealer ( Larry - owner - Mitchell Power Equipment) has advised me he will not service it because I didn't purchase it from him. This is retaliation . I have previously explained to Larry that I would have purchased from him but he wasn't carrying that kind of mower when I made the purchase. Doesn't seem right! I called Toro and they advised me that this was an acceptable business practice and that the dealer had the option to not to perform the warranty work on my mower.

When I can't fix my own stuff I bring it here. Always helpful in answering questions or suggestions. Reasonably priced and quick service, even picked and dropped off equipment while I was at work.
