I was looking forward to going to this place while in town. The Google hours said they would be opened until 5pm. Showed up at 3:30pm and a hand written note on the door said "closing at 2 today" ! Not cool! :/

This vintage clothing store is truly a hidden gem! The store is impeccably curated and I look forward to sharing my experience with others. I definitely plan on returning. The owner and her staff are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the store's history. The three floors of unique finds are a must-see. Do not miss out on the opportunity to visit this store. Trust me, it's worth it!

Brenda the owner is the sweetest person. I'm originally from CA and this place is literally like all the places I used to shop at as a teen in San Francisco and LA. Literally a gem in South Dakota. The pieces are amazing, well worth the hour drive for me. And she keeps a massive stock. Want to move closer just to have access to her. I can't believe I found this place!

Absolutely adored thos place. Clothing from all decades since around 1920 also costumes dating back to the 1800s. Staff was very helpful and we found everything we would need for our Bonnie and Clyde themed wedding. Fun to just see all the different styles of clothing. They also have pics of their costumers in costumes and clothes they have gotten there posted throughout the store. Can't wait to visit them again

When you're on vacation I'm guessing most people would not stop at vintage clothing store--unless, of course, you have a wife with vintage clothing radar.If you're a connoisseur, you can't afford to miss it. Einstein's has three floors of highly unusual items. For example, the 1950s or 60s dress I have pictured along with this post. (I love the tag.)It really is worth going out of your way for.

Incredible store with 3 levels of awesome vintage clothing, costumes and more. I could have spent 2 days there but only had an hour. I may make a special trip to come back to Mitchell just for this store

When I tell you I WAS NOT PREPARED for what this store is. I was just passing through Mitchell looking to do a little thrifting. No review can adequately describe what Brenda has here. It truly is a hidden gem of pristine condition vintage clothes cared for by a life long collector. prices are FAIR and each piece has been preserved and means something to the owner. I was there for almost two hours, didn't even realize it was past close and Brenda never even said anything, just let me bask in the greatness. So great to find someone whose passion can bring collectors together. I will be going back when I am more prepared, totally worth a 4 hour drive.

Fabulous selection of vintage clothing! Costumes, wedding gowns, prom dresses, fur coats and western ware. If you ask the ladies they will be glad to help. Three floors to look through. They even have vintage material and patterns to choose from. We will be coming to shop here again!
