The lodge is clean, comfy, and warm. I would have moved in years ago if they'd have me. Lynette, Jerome, and their staff are some great people. The habitat they keep for pheasant hunting is impeccable, truly a gem! Would highly recommend.

Knowing that it was an old bank converted into a hunting lodge I expected it to be a bit rough and primitive but I was very surprised. Whoever did the decorating has a real flair for a homey, inviting, outdoor chic look. I loved it! It was very clean, the beds were comfortable. I didn't use the well stocked kitchen or laundry. Since I was traveling with family having to share the bathrooms and TVs wasn't a problem, but might be if you are staying alone. The only drawbacks for me was the floors had spots were you had to watch your step and the couch in the conversation are seemed a little well used. Our family has a reunion in Leola every three years.......I am looking forward to my next visit!

Staying at the Old Bank Lodge with a group is a super fun experience. It's certainly different from staying at your typical hotel, but that's exactly what makes it fun! The convenience of having a kitchenette available, separate showers and individually locked doors make it secure and convenient. Lindsey was available and helpful--never more than a phone call away. I was traveling with a group visiting The Nature Conservancy's Ordway Prairie. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights. I would take another group back to the Old Bank Lodge in a heartbeat.

This place is so awesome. It used to be a bank at one time and has been converted to an inn and it is amazing. Beautiful decorations - lots of vintage stuff (including what I think is the original safe from the bank!) my husband and spent about an hour just looking at everything; cozy rooms; community bathroom that's well stocked; fitness area; game & TV area; wifi; and very, very clean (my big plus!) Not to mention, this is a small town so I just automatically feel safe. I made my reservations via text with the owner. She was very nice and she responded quickly! The town itself is beautiful and everyone is so friendly. :) Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you're traveling through Leola. Only downside - only 1 or 2 places to grab a bite, but the hotel loses no stars for that!!
