“It’s a funky little space that’s actually a really fun stay! The rooms are converted from the previous space so they’re not traditional but the bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed! The little breakfast provided in the morning was great and the location was perfect for day trips to Spearfish and Deadwood. Would 100% stay again!”
“After years of watching posts on their website and Facebook, I talked my wife into going. We stayed 2 nights and rented a side by side for a full day. It was a wonderful time on the trails and the food was fantastic.
I had so much fun, I am taking a friend back next weekend to do it all over again.
Food and drinks: Burgers and breakfast were delicious. Don't even need leave the resort.”
“We loved Spearfish Canyon Lodge! The people were very friendly, the rooms were comfortable, they had 4 great hikes in walking distance including two beautiful waterfalls. In addition, the scenic byway had more hiking and waterfalls to explore.
The Latchstring restaurant across the street also had great food, including Walleye, and Trout Almondine.

“Great find for our end of the day after touring Mt Rushmore and heading to Sturgis for breakfast. Small,cozy cabin. Heated up quick. Bed was super comfortable and linens/quilt were clean and fresh. We arrived 8pm and Judith got us settled. Very friendly and helpful. We left early so didn’t use the kitchen but it looked nicely stocked. Shower was hot. We did need our own shampoo which I had. Glad they had a blow dryer. Older place but quaint and cozy.”
