So many adorable kitties that need good homes. Everyone should have a cat, and if you don’t fancy cats then consider adopting a pup they all need loving homes.

After a family trauma, my daughters and I couldn't stand coming home to an empty house. For some reason, I checked the BCHS website. I really can't even say why.It was here I saw Gus, and knew he had to come home with us! The staff at BCHS was awesome, and really love the animals they care for.Don't hesitate to adopt a shelter pet from these folks. There's A LOT of loving animals there that need a great home!

They were very pleasant and I was very happy that they helped to find my friend's dog that got loose from her yard.

We went to adopt a certain cat that a friend lost to them. The lady was very stern about things but we understood what she was talking about and appreciated her depth of caring for the animals and wanting to see them safe.

Very helpful. A little crowded but lots of animals to chose from. Could always use more donations. Help them out a bit people.

It has been almost a year since I braved a blizzard from Colorado Springs to adopt Sammy the Corgi. Sam had his share of bad luck with abusive owners who cast him off along the highway, saved by Beadle Co Humane. Then adopted to wonderful lady in Huron who later passed...Sam was back at the HS once again. It has been a challenging year for both Sam and I with his fears and once again adjusting to another new home (along with Covid quarantining etc). Long story: The great folks at Beadle Humane Society saved Sammy's life at least twice...we are all lucky to have them doing such a good and difficult job. THANK YOU!

Just yesterday we had to put down our 13 year old lab that we adopted from this facility. Our family will never forget how grateful she was as for the first year we brought her back she would never leave our side or stop giving us kisses (licks). Rescued dogs are the sweetest and most caring creatures and if you are considering the option I highly encourage it. We will forever be grateful for the opportunity of being able to own her. From the river she was found near, to the 13 years she was with us, she was sweet and caring for every second. Please never stop caring for these animals as they appreciate it more than we know!

He began playing with our dog, Lily, an11yr old dingo, & they are the best of friends.Snickers is my lap dog & he sleeps next to me every night. He has the funniest personality& has brought such joy to our lives!I don't remember her name but the woman working helped me with his adoption & was very kind. Thank you so much for our little Snickers!

The staff here were awesome when my brother's fence was opened and someone let his dog run free. They were able to capture him and return him to us for free -- they saw our posts on FB and had gotten quite a few calls from people saying that his owner was looking for him. The dog park out at the humane society is cute and has plenty of space for dogs to run.

Adopted my chocolate lab back in August. Had to put him down 3 months later due to a tumor. Very disappointed that the humane society did not check him out when they got him. He had 26 pounds of fluid that we drained and was that size when I adopted him. Very disappointed. My vet said that he did have the fluid and issues for quite awhile.
