Great staff. Got a flat tire and one of the works came out to help us and changed it. We didn't get his name but he was a life saver. Thank you for saving the day sir.

Great place to stay in the Black Hills. Spacious sites, well kept and close to Mount Rushmore, Needles, Sylvan Lake and the Mickelson Trail.

This place is absolutely wonderful!!!
Great location, very very well kept. Probably the best campground I've ever stayed at. Will absolutely stay here again if I get the opportunity.

We return here to vacation every five years or so, always clean and continually updated, new larger campsites shaded in the pines. Wonderful staff, breakfast of pancakes and sausage cooked for you Thursday thru Monday by nice couple is added value for sure.
Nearby activities: Closed to monuments and walking and bike paths.

A great campground, but a poor RV park. No over the air TV or cable. Internet was intermittent at best and often not available. If you want to get away from the world, it's a great campground. If you want to stay connected to the outside world, stay away.

Love this campground! The views are spectacular! The sites are set up nicely, some shaded, some not at all. Lots of area to ride and walk in the park. The Mickelson Trail runs right through the entrance so very easy access to the trail!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND- We stayed 5 nights in RV site 151. This was one of our BEST stays anywhere ever. Absolutely beautiful RV sites and grounds. Lots of space between sites. I think 151 was the best - on a hill with no view obstruction and western sun blocked by pine trees. Near to the very nice shower facility. Great fire pit and their fire wood was so nice and dry!! Didn’t take advantage of pool and hot tub but it was sparkling and we saw them cleaning it every morning. Staff was very nice and helpful. YOU ARE MISSING OUT OF YOU DON’T STAY HERE!

Great Resort park, only down side no cable TV hookups. Very quiet and scenic. About 15 miles to Mount Rushmore.

Recently visited Custer State Park and loved the scenery and the overall experience. We pulled our trailer from Iowa and stayed at Rafter K Bar Ranch. The location was perfect with easy access to the park. Monument and towns. Our site was wonderful and quiet with a great view of the hills. The staff , including the wonderful pancake breakfast, made our visit one to remember with a desire to return.

By far one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed. Centrally located to all the things to see and do. Will stay here again.
