Not the smallest post office I've been in, but close. The USS George Washington's was slightly smaller, but most likely handled 10x the Amazon packages!
The postal clerk was very nice. Later the next week, when I was in Custer mailing a package, there she was again! We chatted for a minute again there. It's so cool to meet locals that are pleasant.

Can’t rely on your mail to get delivered office will tell you what they think you want to hear to get you off their backs better off getting a post office box or have your mail delivered to your work especially if you live where their contracted drivers deliver such as hwy 40 and the subdivisions packages seemingly disappear, but they’ll tell you it was delivered and that’s all the footwork they’ll do for hermosa sd

I've never had a poor experience at the Hermosa Post Office in my 16 years here. Always super friendly.
