Wish I could say I had the opportunity to review the quality of this shop’s work, however due to the owner’s complete lack of common curtesy and disrespect of another person’s time, I can only review the shop business practices…
I filed a glass claim with my insurance company on Aug. 2nd due to a stone chip…The insurance rep. advised me that Auto Glass Express is one of their preferred shops…However, there were no openings until Tuesday Aug. 6th…Immediately following the call with my insurance company, I called Terry at Auto Glass Express to set an appointment to repair my windshield…This was at 1:25 in the afternoon…I left a voice message I stating that I live in Parkston and I am willing to travel to Mitchell in order to make this claim a little smoother for him and to possibly get the repair sooner…I also drove by the shop only to find that the shop was closed…Terry returned my call on Saturday the 3rd at 7:57 am and left a message advising me that he would be in Parkston on Tuesday the 6th and could repair the windshield then…I returned his call at 2:59 on Saturday the 3rd and left a message asking what time he would be in Parkston so that I could plan my day to be available for him…After not receiving a call from the shop, I called again on Monday the 5th at 3:52, again another voice message requesting when he would be in Parkston on the 6th so that I could plan my day to be available…Again, no response…
Having not received any response from Terry, I continued with my day by playing bingo with my wife and disabled brother-in-law, in Mitchell…..I FINALLY received a voice message from Terry on Tuesday the 6th at 11:02 stating that he was “on his way” to Parkston and that he wanted to set up an appointment….FINALLY A RETURN CALL……Terry waited until the day that he said he could meet with me to finally call and confirm an appointment. I guess Terry just assumed that I would sit around the house all day waiting for him to show….That is just a complete disrespect of another person’s time….How does anyone run a business like that?????
Needless to say, Auto Glass Express is not going to get my business….Any reputable business that does not have the common courtesy to return calls and the decency to respect another person’s time, DOES NOT deserve to get my business….

Terry Novak of Auto Glass Express was amazing! My husband and I had a very hard to replace windshield and other companies said it would take 3-4 days to complete the job. We were traveling from out of state and he happened to have our windshield in stock! He met us and replaced the windshield in record time, getting us back to our travels. Thank you so much Terry!!!

They don’t backup their mistakes when you find them. Left glass shards in vents and very rude when confronted! Spent more fixing their mistake than it cost for windshieldService: Auto windshield replacement

Terry does not understand the concept of service after the sale. He was rude when calling to get payment. Unfortunately, the day he performed chip repair on my vehicle was also the day of a storm in Sioux Falls. He left the driver's side door unlatched which caused it to slam into the vehicle next to me and allowed the vehicle to be filled with water, dirt, and debris. Now he refuses to accept ownership of this or call us back after multiple attempts. We will never use him again and have told others not to use him either.Service: Auto windshield repair

Great service. They met me where I was shopping and took care of my windshield. I will call them before Safelite every time because a real person answered the phone every time I called. No dealing with an automated service.

He arrived as scheduled and got our windshield replaced without any issues. One week later, I haven't noticed anything wrong with the windshield or the installation.
