This hotel is overpriced for what it is, but I guess you can do that when you're in the middle of nowhere. They're remodeling, and it is a mess and noisy. Our room had a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we arrived. There was no blow dryer. The carpet had pieces of gravel on it, so it had not been vacuumed.

Can't believe I wasted so much $ on this place. I figured I'd 'splurge' on some comfort whilst driving cross country and roughing it all week. The hotel is under a MAJOR remodel - it should be closed whilst they work on it, we're talking construction zone. Half the parking lot is filled with work gear and containers like Walmart at Christmas - which was a huge concern to me towing a trailer, limiting parking and honestly concerning me about security. Inside the place is a complete mess, with hanging plastic and missing flooring in the corridor. There is no fitness room and whilst the pool itself is open there's also work being done inside there - including the spa. And you have to go through the construction to access it. They're still charging full price despite all of this!! Worse, I find my room hasn't been wiped down properly - there's coffee on the desk and fingerprints on the bedside. I go to clean it then remember I'm not at a motel and paid a lot of money, this shouldn't be the case. I get another room, it stinks of wet dog as soon as I walk in. How is that even possible when it's a non pet hotel ? I sucked it up, went nose blind after a while. The room backs on to a truckers gas station - truck brake noise - and a train line. The train rolls through in the middle of the night blasting its horn. Breakfast is in a temporary room, where there are no waffles but plenty of flies. They're buzzing around you constantly, and landing on me and the table as I try to eat - I left. I feel completely ripped off, I got a motel experience at a overpriced hotel cost.

This hotel is going through a major remodel and when they are done it will look like new. The staff was top notch, well trained, friendly and professional. Our room was very clean, well done, comfortable and spacious. The location was easy to find and convenient to all routes.

Under construction. "Cheap labor" started before sun up. Carpet poorly laid. No taping when painted. A kid could've done better. I'd be embarrassed with work like that Refrigerator didn't work. Near train tracks and livestock yard. Loud! Also a mill nearby that created dust everywhere. They tossed all the garbage in the construction dumpsters right outside door. Smell was terrible from it sitting so long. Definitely go somewhere else.

No mention of hotel being under construction upon booking. Even calling to make reservations and still not a mention. Pancake machine not working juice machine not working. Room was nice and updated but rest of hotel is questionable

Was a disgusting rip off.
This place gave the Holiday Inn name a bad mark.
I cannot believe they have the actual NERVE to charge what they did.
Place was filthy, reeked of pot EVERYWHERE, staff acted like everything was a bother.
I was appalled at it all, but alas, we were stuck. We'd have lost our money and couldn't find another place so last minute.
Trust me...if I could have, I would have.

Called to make a reservation, they took all my information and card number. never got an email so I called back and they said they did not have my reservation and booked the rooms we requested.

My worst experience ever in my life. I came here with family and we had 3 separate rooms for 2 nights. When I got into my room my door doesn’t even latch so the key card is completely useless. Tried to get another room unfortunately fully booked hotel.. So I had a family member watch the room while I was gone, and the gal working that night was at least trying to help fix the door problem but not much you can do with a metal frame and a misplaced latch. Next day we asked again for another room or some sort of assistance and the desk attendant wrote down our name and room number for maintenance. No one came to our room that whole day, so had to move all our valuables out into my parents room. That is only 1 problem out of the many other problems my family had with their rooms!!!! Absolutely horrible, no manager on site or to call. Also don’t expect to get good rooms they give their good rooms to the workers doing construction on the hotel! My only advice would be is stay somewhere else till they at least finish their renovations or just don’t stay here.
Rooms: Door doesn’t close, no remote to the tv, shower curtain hangs so far from the tub that the bathroom floor becomes a swimming pool.

Called to reserve room. Told an email confirmation would be coming. No confirmation. No reservation. No apologies. Really dissappointing.
