“The people at the front counter are excellent. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. The Post Master is good. I know she wants to help, but I think her hands are tied by upper management. USPS needs to help our area by hiring more people and retain them by offering better pay. The biggest issue we have with Spearfish post office is the home and business delivery service. We've had a private contractor delivering mail. Our mail is delivered to neighbors, and theirs to us too often. There are other issues. The problem is that workers and local management are overworked and underpaid. Our area needs more funding and support.”
“Ordered an item shipped to my home in Deadwood and accidentally put down the wrong street. Called the post office they caught the package and delivered it to me. Great customer service and fixed an issue I caused.”
