I truly enjoyed my stay at the Martin & Mason Hotel. The owners were super nice and accommodating, the location is great to explore the Deadwood Downtown, and the room was perfect - historic, quaint, charming, yet it contained all of today's amenities, including a super comfy bed. Will definitely try to stay here next time I visit the Black Hills.

Less amenities because of it's historic nature. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had water and drinks on same level as room. And they even gave me some ibuprofen. Parking is tight but they make sure you have a spot.Walkability: A block off all the action in Deadwood.

We love this hotel, we've stayed here two years in a row and will stay here every year after this one. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the loction can't be beat. We especially loving having the bathtub in the room and it's such a special touch. The staff are amazing the breakfast at the restaurant has the best breakfast burritos. We won't stay anywhere else in Deadwood.Rooms: Bed are so comfy, and the bathtubs are amazingWalkability: Great parking for walking anywhere in Deadwood.

The hotel is so beautiful and the rooms are decorated with amazing antique furniture that aesthetically matched the hotel. Blake was such a nice guy and gave us great recommendations for dinner, food, and hiking.

Had our wedding and reception at this beautiful, historic venue. We're so elated that we chose this location. The elegant ballroom was the absolute perfect place to hold such a celebration. The owners of the establishment are so incredibly kind, generous and helpful. The immense amount of love and work they have put into the building is apparent and they give the same treatment to their patrons and everyone else who walks through their doors. The rooms are very luxurious, each one of them is different and walking into them is like stepping back in time. They all feature many authentic antiques and historically accurate furnishings. Really feels like you're living in the old days of Deadwood.Overall, we are overjoyed beyond words with our experience here. We give thanks from the bottom of our hearts to M & B for every single thing they did for us leading up to and on our big day. We are forever grateful you were a part of it.TLDR: I truly can't recommend this hotel and it's people enough. 1000/10 stars

Beautiful hotel restored to its original grandeur. Owners were fabulous! Very helpful! Fresh coffee was set outside the rooms by 7:00 in the morning. We really felt the history of Deadwood during our stay!

Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your next stay in Deadwood. Every room is beautifully decorated and super clean. The bed was very comfortable and the owner and her staff were absolutely top notch! Melanie went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

This hotel is perfectly located in Deadwood. Parking for hotel guests is included. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room (10) had a step in tub with a shower. I would not recommend this room for anyone who has issues climbing in and out of a high tub or stability problems because there is nothing to grab while getting in and out. I recommend requesting cleaning services, because without it, your room won't be cleaned. Our room was small and a bit dark, but the Victorian style is clearly outlined on their website. Water, soda, and coffee is complimentary.
