I was told there would be no extra charges with this fill for 1.89 per gallon. We received a c a rd in the mail offering us a fill for 1.89 per gallon and we took advantage of the offer. Then we received a bill in the mail with many extra charges we were told would be waived. I called the company and they agreed to look into this and remove charges and call us with the new total due. I haven't heard from them. Do you think I'd order from you again? I want an answer on this and very soon. This is a terrible way to do business.

ordered online, received scheduled fill timeline. No show, multiple attempts for updates and no one could provide details on cs line. Then received notice fill scheduled for next day, no show again, then received text days later "unable to fill due to snow packed driveway"- completely false as driveway was clear for days. 4 days later finally received fill-almost 2 weeks after original scheduled time. Completely unacceptable.

Even with our uncleared, snowy driveway, your driver made his best attempt to deliver. Although he failed his first attempt, he returned a few days later and completed the task.

Didn't get the delivery in the dated timeframe and had to call for status..total of over 2 weeks until finally got a delivery

Prepaid order, with two calls from me took over a week to get delivery. Amerigas states if immediate delivery or help needed to call your local number. Calling your local number ties into their national call center, which for extra fees, a delivery can be made. Ever since Custer Gas was sold to thus company, local personal touch is out the window. No personal care, just all about the money. I would stick local. Run from America's if you can.

Worst customer service ever. Called to have them pick up my tank and 3 months later they did. Then they charged my account for the tank pick up.. Been calling them for the past 3 months to process my promised refund. Still waiting for my check to show up.Horrible company!

Terrible company. We’ve been with the same company for over 30 years. We were told no charge to pick up tank if it was at 5%. We did this, even unhooked and moved the tank to an easy access location. For doing this, we were charged $156.00 to pick up THEIR TANK that we had been renting for over 30 years. They said it was never their policy and always charge that fee. We switched companies when we found out their prices we about $1/gallon more than the other companies in our area. This is a lousy company, certainly not South Dakota values.

Very poor customer service. 2+ weeks just to get a delivery. No payment options for those of us living paycheck to paycheck. 9/10 times have to talk to an overseas rep. Would not recommend to even the most desperate.

Very poor customer service and old equipment. It doesnt matter if you call or email them, after you hang up, it's like you never contacted them. Many times you end up talking to a rep in a foriegn country. They don't keep records of requests and they don't communicate to their employees. Not a company to depend on for your families propane needs. Avoid like the plague.

The company switched to a voice automated "More Customer Friendly and Better" phone in system. It is NEITHER!!! I was on hold for 22 minutes before I got to speak to a representative...in Timbuktu! I would have given it zero stars rating if I could. They lost my business

Horrible service now that there's no local contact. I have , for weeks, tried multiple routes to get my account set up and tank filled...I'm currently at 8% capacity and will be changing to a competitor tomorrow. Not impressed. I would not recommend and would give zero stars if it were an option!

For years we dealt with the company that Amerigas bought out and had no problems-but when Amerigas came that is when we had issues. They are not a customer friendly business. They came out and told me that they only prefer to work with businesses residential homes! I wonder why they would buy a business in a small town if they didn’t want to supply propane to residential homes.I tried to continue using them-but when they charged me an outrageous price for half of an order because my pre-buy was out-that was the last straw! I no longer do business with them as there are other very nice and better run companies in the area to deal with!
