Bryce and Bryan have been wonderful to work with. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, then recommended a litter that fit. As a novice bird hunter, both were patient and not condescending in the slightest. We couldn't be happier with the temperament and drive of the puppy we ended up with.We elected to send Walter back to them for training last summer and again, Bryan and Bryce impressed me. They listened to how I hunt and made recommendations on what we should and should not train with Walter.Walter is now a year and a half old and halfway into his first hunting season. We've been hitting the MN public land hard and Walter is killing it. He's extremely high drive, but stays close and listens well. In the house, we have no concerns allowing him to play with our unpredictable 1 and 2 year old kids. We could not be happier.

This place absolutely amazing. We had such a great hunt. Plenty of birds for our group of 12 guys. The dogs were the best I have ever been around. Pointed at every bird and even found a winged bird I literally stepped on and didn’t know. Bryce Bryan and Cody were such great guides, helped us at the very turn. 10/10 recommend and will be back!

This is a awesome place to go pheasant hunting! Great land to hunt, dogs are exceptionally trained, the guides definitely know what they're doing. I'll definitely be coming back here again!!!

5 years ago I purchased my first lab from CVK, enrolled him in the training program. A few summers later I was fortunate enough to be hunting with a 4x GMPR & SH. Bryce and Bryan did a fabulous job with him. Bought my 2nd dog from them a year later.

I have had the privilege of having two CVK bred dogs. The Sombkes breed for phenomenal hunters with incredible temperaments. A true testament and where one chooses to spend their money, right? I will be spending mine by sending a dog to them this summer for training. You can’t go wrong with CVK, for going on a hunt or finding your next dog.

When I lost my last dog I was given Coteau View as a reputable breeder. I got my Ruby from them not quite two years ago. I had Bryce and Brian train her for Pheasant hunting. She has not disappointed me. She is my constant companion and best friend!
